Celine Hotel

The hotel is a few blocks from the Blue Mosque, and within walking distance of the bazaar, spice market, and all old town sites. The hotel is beautifully restored and decorated. My bathroom was modern and immaculate. The woodwork is gorgeous. Included breakfast was wonderful. The cost was less than half what we paid in Munich. The four or five steps from street level to the ground floor level could be problematic for those who can't climb stairs. On the ground floor level is an elevator. There isn't anything that I disliked.

The room facing street was too noisy so got moved to the rear which was perfect

It’s such a gorgeous 150 year old hotel that has kept its historic charm, yet has all of the modern amenities. I felt very safe there & the breakfast was so delicious. The hotel management & desk staff looked after my every need. They were outstanding! I liked everything.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the accommodation was wonderful overall. It's a small, cozy hotel with a great atmosphere, a delicious breakfast and an excellent location, situated right near multiple historic and tourist attractions. The ground-floor location of our room meant we experienced more noise than expected. Sleep quality was affected by the mattress, which lacked support and had a small dip in the middle. We encountered an issue with the air conditioning failing one afternoon. Although the staff wasn't able to provide an immediate solution, they did get it working again.

It is located within walking distance of major tourist attractions. The hotel managers/receptionists were exceptional and willing to go above and beyond their duties. They even took me to a local barber shop for a shave!!

Celine is a unique and beautiful historical building in perfect location: right next to the main city attractions, yet quiet. Thanks a lot to the hotel staff, they were very friendly and helpful! They paid attention to my request and gave us a room with bathtub. The room itself was not big, but just enough for two of us, it also had local touch, a nice balcony, and some see view :) Overall we enjoyed the stay very much! Bad coffee at breakfast and in the room. Please consider putting normal coffee machine at breakfast

Location was perfect, staff very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious with a great view and cleaned every day. Hotel was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was very nice. Would recommend this hotel. It is a traditional old hotel so the windows are original (I think) so it did not drown out the noise but it didn't affect our stay.

Everything. You literally can’t go wrong with Celine Hotel. One of the most reliable, comforting, nurturing, and wholesome hotels I’ve ever been to. I come from a culture that values hospitality a lot, and Celine Hotel takes the cake for it. This was my 6th stay at this hotel, and I will definitely come here again. The location, staff, responsiveness, and breakfast are all worth mentioning. Considering how popular Istanbul’s become as a tourist destination, its quite lovely how quaint this particular nook in Sultanahmet becomes post 6 pm (once all the tourists groups leave), definitely the right setting to get lost in time. And this hotel fits right into that theme. All in all, must recommend. I came with my three little sisters for a sisters’ trip, and we felt extremely safe and well taken care of under Celine Hotel’s care. Literally nothing.

Location was close to Blue mosque, Hagia Sofia and tram, place was clean. Breakfast was nothing special- cereal, yoghurt, cookies- olives, processed cold cuts- would love to have more variety like scrambled eggs and toast or some protein that that wasn't too sweet.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. We would have loved a room with a view of the sea but did not have that option as they were booked.

The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was small, but very nice. Outstanding service! The breakfast buffet was traditional and modern. This hotel is within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi palace and all the markets. Wold world feel with modern comfort and a wonderful service!
