Room smelled pretty bad. AC was awful

The location on this hotel is ideal. Have in mind that the streets in Istanbul are not very pedestrian friendly overall. The room overall was good. The cleanliness of the place was not the best. There was a refrigerator in the room and it was very dirty with black stains on the inside and some gooey type liquids on the bottom. Also, when we got there there was a kid in the counter and he called someone to come and complete the check in. He said 5 minutes but we ended up waiting about 30 minutes for someone to came and do the check out. Also, place is advertised to have breakfast from 8-10 but I got there at 9:26 and there was barely anything left. The room was advertised to have garden view but we had street view. Also, ran out of toilet paper the last day and there was not any spares ones to use.

The location is near to şişhane metro station and the golden horn station , even is 5 min walk away from landmarks such as Galata tour, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room is so good and clean ? We didn’t try the breakfast because we had our breakfast outside since we wanted to enjoy the Turkish mornings, but i am sure is good

The location was excellent. Near to every important destination. The room wasn’t soundproof. You could hear everything from outside and everyone could hear you. Also the breakfast was closing at 10 so if you went at 9:30, they didn’t renew it and there was nothing left to eat.

Location right next to Şişhane metro station and Galata Tower was great. Also Karaköy and Eminönü districts were easily accessible on foot. Breakfast was served on the rooftop where there was a great sea view to Fatih direction. Bathroom amenities (e.g. shower gel and shampoo) and fridge were included in the room, which was nice. There was also AC in the room. Overall, the hotel was a disappointment for us. Of course you cannot expect too much for this price, but a lot could be improved with a little effort. It looked like the room was lacking a proper cleaning when we got it. There was no daily cleaning but you had to ask for cleaning and getting more toilet paper etc. Even new towels looked like a bit dirty. The breakfast was the bare minimum to call it that. It would have been ok otherwise, but nothing new was brought out after 9, even though breakfast lasted until 10. Breakfast was like in a hostel and it was unclear whether you could, for example, get eggs from somewhere and fry them yourself, because some people did that. The hotel staff does not speak English, so be prepared to use Google Translate. Upon check-out, the receptionist translated a text for us apologizing for any disappointments and asking us to forgive them, which seemed like a strange comment. You would think they would want to improve their operations based on feedback, though.

This was my first time in Istanbul and I have to say that I had a wonderful time overall. What made my stay at the hotel very good was the helpful and very friendly staff who went out of their way to assist me with my requests. The property is very safe and it’s easy to access the surrounding attractions and public transport facilities. I am coming back as soon as I have the chance to.

There weren’t many options for breakfast, but for that kind of price you can’t really complain.

Drinking Water is free which is great, staff are friendly and helpful, room is clean and the property is close to halic metro station 3 mn walk. No elevator! Which will make it hard for someone with heavy luggage or a fat person.
