Club is poor

I visited the hospital with my family for my daughter's checkup and planned to spend four days in Istanbul. I booked a hotel, but upon check-in, they demanded full payment for four days. The situation changed a day later, and we left Istanbul two days later, having stayed at the hotel for only two nights. Unfortunately, as I was informed at reception, the hotel refused to refund me for two days!

It has good spacious rooms The AC wasn’t working. We had to contact the staff 3 times about this issue and the three times they promised that after some time the room will cool. It never cooled. After the 4th complain they moved us to another upgraded room which is appreciated

Terrible location, right next to busy road with no air to breathe. Not fit for a walk or jog.

The room was large and spacious with a classic, understated interior and a comfortable, large bed. The reception staff were pleasant and highly professional. 1. The "sea view" also unfortunately included a view of a busy highway, with significant traffic noise even at night. Opening the window at night was impossible due to the noise. This wouldn't have been a major issue if not for: 2. The central air conditioning system in the rooms (and my 4 colleagues experienced the same) was fixed at +26°C, and no one could lower the temperature as the system didn't respond to adjustments. 3. The breakfast was a major disappointment. Firstly, the breakfast area is simply too small to accommodate all guests, especially during peak hours. Secondly, the selection of food and drinks was laughable for a 5-star hotel – no fried eggs were offered, and coffee and tea were dispensed from large self-service urns, with no option to order an espresso or Turkish coffee. The final straw: The takeaway breakfast I ordered on the second day consisted of... a single sausage roll, one green apple, and a half-liter bottle of water. Marriott team, are you serious?!

Staff were great, room was spacious The spa could do with some maintenance for sure. The showers in the changing room are coming away from the ceiling and the whole place feels it needs some upgrades

Free upgrade to better rooms, the rooms themselves (equipment, size, window view, bathroom, bed, TV etc.), overall hotel appearance, quality of most of facilities, wide package of free services, indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam room, breakfast included, fair price. Narrow range of food for breakfast (even compared to lower category hotels), jacuzzi (broken several water pumps, cold water), small fitness center, strange requirements (wear sport shoes in gym, forbidden to appear in dressing gown in breakfast area, broken cooling system (air conditioning), staff is not aware of some basic things - how to confirm the booking on Booking.com, invoices are low quality and easy to copy.

The AC was not working. If you open window very noisy. The food below standard. If you request water i.e with ice they either bring only water or only ice. It was a nightmare. I did not sleep until now cause the warm room. I demand full refund. I will never come back

The windows were drafty — the wind came through even though they were shut. Breakfast could have been much better; something was always missing. One morning, they ran out of hot water, so I couldn’t make myself a tea, and it took them forever to bring more — which they never did in the end. On a positive note, the staff were super nice and friendly. Special thanks to our housekeeping guy, Irfan — he was awesome!
