The staff is very polite and helpfull. Really understanding the situation. You can get to hotel from Sabiha G. metro station inside airport to Ayrilik Ceshmesi (approximately 20 stations) then change to B1 Marmaray line untill Sirkeci station. Here change to T1 tram station (also name is Sirkeci) and go strait to Bayazet station. Here on the left side you will see a Burger King building and a downhill street, follow until the end and turn right to Cilavcilar street. First it seems like save a money option, but you must be ready for downhill and uphill road from Yenicheriler str. to Cilavcilar str., and this was very exhausting for us. The hotel has a potential but seems that they are not reinvesting in itself, so the facilities and management need renovation.

The hotel denied our stay and were demanding money offline which is against the policy of Booking.com. When we reached Baku they said the room was already booked and we cannot get a stay. I think its a scam and as we did not pay we did not fall prey to it. Everything.

Very good lady attended take care of every customer very good and very hardworking They should add a elevator

I really liked the location of the property, as it was right in the heart of Sultanahmet, making it very easy to explore all the main attractions by walking. The hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful—especially Mert, who went out of his way to assist me throughout my stay. His friendliness and support truly made my experience even better. Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like about the property. Everything was comfortable and met my expectations.

Staff were excellent, healthy breakfast, great location, and the manager Mert was very helpful with guiding us and helping us in the city. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi worked very well. Plenty of toiletries in the restroom, and everything was mostly clean (besides some dust) and it was overall a great place to stay! No elevators, seating in breakfast is a bit congested, our room is a little dusty. Overall just needs improvement in breakfast area.

Only it’s location is good There was no lift. The bathroom is small. Very poor breakfast.

I stayed at Maduro Hotel for about a week, and I can genuinely say the experience was wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They also offer a variety of tours that they can book for you, making it super convenient for travelers. The hotel is in a great location—just a 5-minute walk to the train station, which is a huge plus when exploring Istanbul, it is a an uphill walk but it’s better then most of the hills in turkey! Even better, it’s right by a vibrant food street filled with affordable and delicious dining options. The hotel itself is clean and well-presented. My room was tidy, and the bathroom was surprisingly modern and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place with excellent service. One thing to note is that there’s no elevator (we booked it knowing there was no elevator) but the staff are more than happy to assist with your luggage. Overall, it’s a charming and welcoming place to stay

Only The breakfast was decent. Mustafa at the reception was excellent — very respectful, helpful, and professional. Mart was also kind and helpful. the woman working there was not friendly at all. Cleanliness was a serious issue. Under the bed seemed like it had never been cleaned since the hotel was built. I had to look for something that fell underneath and was shocked by the amount of dust. Towels were not changed daily. The rooms look nothing like the pictures on Booking. There is no elevator. They advertise a “sea view,” but what you actually get is a glimpse of the sea behind ugly buildings — definitely not worth paying extra for.

The staff were amazing, really helpful. Honestly without their help my family and I would've been lost. Credit to them they were so good! The only thing that was an issue was that there was no lift and the location was so bad. You cannot get into the area as it is blocked off and the the walk up to the hill with the luggage's were exhausting.

Location. Plenty of toiletries and towels. Breakfast basic and no variety/options after 9:30.

Passable

You could catch a glimpse of the harbour Breakfast is rubbish Rooms are musty with sticky floors, decrepit and missing shelves, towel rails, etc. Your view is mainly the fire escape spiral staircase The door to the fire escape is in your room, not child proof and leaves a 2cm gap for drafts and The noise - streets, dogs, cats, seagulls and the 3 mosques nearby The area is a WIP polished slum and you're 10 min downhill from the Tram so come in top shape Kids complained about bed bugs, no TV channels, Netflix app failing to login The staff were there but not sure what they were doing
