Excellent location. Very friendly and caring personnel. Very good breakfast and the cooks.
-
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What stood out the most was the staff—they were informative, supportive, friendly, and always polite, making us feel very welcome. The breakfast was decent, with a good variety to start the day. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would happily stay here again NA

This hotel is very close to Blue Mosque, just below it. Room facilities are quite adequate. Breakfast is great and abundant. All staff are friendly and helpful.

The breakfast can be improved not much options.

The location is incredibly nice. Terrific local bodegas and restaurants. Food out is pricy but this is a super tourist-y area. Staff were helpful. Breakfast each day was adequate. We had planned to eat out and do a full Turkish breakfast on Sunday and the very kind cook/server had prepared a larger breakfast that day. I’m sorry we missed it. Our room had a pungent ‘sewer’ smell. They required we pay cash in Euro for our airport transfer.

It was our first time in Istanbul, and the cozy hotel made us feel very welcome. A significant part of that feeling was due to Ismail's hospitality. A very friendly, helpful, and accommodating host that can also recommend activities and call you a cab if you need. The location is really close to all the major attractions; there is a little store and a good restaurant nearby. Breakfast was great and felt homemade. You can get a view over the rooftops to the water. If you're getting a balcony with a water view, there will be winding stairs without an elevator. But Ismail was very helpful in getting our luggage up there. Without him, it would've been difficult. Just a heads up for people with large suitcases.

The hotel is lovely, situated on a quite street, at 10 minutes' walk from Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Cistern Basilica. The building is well kept and has a nice rooftop terrace with sea and city view. The rooms are cosy and cleaned every day. Breakfast was nice, with many options - cold & warm food, vegetables, fruit, cakes, tea and coffee. Across the street, there is a small supermarket and a restaurant. The best aspect was the staff - polite, always present and ready to help - especially Mr. Ismail from the reception, who helped with touristic information, optional activities, arranged airport transfer and was always one WhatsApp message away. I thank everyone at Maritime Hotel and highly recommend staying here!

Clean, cosy, well kept, quiet hotel. Lovely rooftop and front terraces. Nice breakfast with multiple options. Very polite and helpful staff, always at one's service. In the historical centre of Istanbul, on a delightful little street, close to mini market and restaurants.
-
Good staff. Friendly and very helpful gentlemen at reception, welcoming visitors and ready to accommodate everyone far beyond their duties! Noises and smells of cigarettes from outside!
-
Friendly and cooperative staff. Exceptionally kind ladies, preparing and serving breakfast! Towels has been reused too much, need to be replaced and toiletries could be upgraded!
-
Amazingly friendly and very kind staffs! Very good breakfast, verities were delicious. Needs some improvement, specifically in front of reception and lobby!
-
Wonderful location. Clean, lovely breakfast, quiet.
-
Manager is good and friendly, got us upgraded on the room. Location is good, easy to walk around and get to the mosque. The stairs are a bit scary

Its all a bit dated.
-
The staff was very accommodating. There were a couple of exceptional restaurants right across the street. We were within walking distance of all the best tourist sites.
-
great location, friendly and helpful staffs. Room is small, Simple but efficient, ok for a few days stay .
-
I like how simple yet very cozy the place and my room was! The receptionist is also very nice! The place is so accessible to so many landmarks. The power sockets could be added near the bed I think?
-
Great location, within walking distance to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia.
-
The property is near all the main attractions. Ismail at the front desk was amazing! 10 out of 10 stars. The streets are cobblestone so if you plan to go on vacation with high heels then reconsider. Istanbul is not that kind of city. The place has all the basics that you need. Rooms are cleaned daily and if you need anything extra just ask at the front desk. N/a

Great location, good breakfast. The reception guy did not speak much English and was very passive-aggressive. He demanded we give him our passports to make copies. It was right after they had a security breach, and we received what up messages from the "bad" guys. I do not like my docs to be stored on some computer for years, but we had no choice but to allow it. Not enough sheets or towels for us, but after asking 10 times, we got one. No coffee in the room, couple of tea bags. Not working fridge.
