Sarnic Premier Hotel - Special Class

The Hotel Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Location near to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque is fantastic.

Location Super smelly

I like the food for breakfast. It was delicious and great selections for my 2 nights 3 days. Some area was not clean at the dressing table area. Overall lovely. May I share a suggestion, if you provide iron in the rooms it would bean added value to your service.

Overall, it was ok. Trying to get to the elevator was a mission. Also, my room didn't have any toilet paper, etc. the shower head was super high up, it was impossible for a shorter person to reach

Perfect Nil

The major sights I wanted to see were within walking distance or a short tram ride away. Staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! Room was sunny with easy-to-open windows on two sides for cross ventilation. Comfortable beds and pillows. Room was small and could have used a small chair at the desk so I didn't have to sit on the bed to use my laptop.

The property was near absolutely all the attractions and had a decent breakfast King size bed apparently in European standard are just 2 twin size beds merged together it’s not one giant king size mattress so beware if you get king size

The Location.The breakfast. The advertising for this hotel led us to believe that our room had a balcony with a view, but it did not. The room was very old and looked out on a noisy street. I told the hotel at the time of booking that we were old with mobility issues, I told them, and assumed we would use their elevator, but they placed us in a room that required us to walk up and down staires.

Comfortable and in a good location. I extended for another week. Nothing much, Internet did not work most of the time. But otherwise all good.

First things first – I'm from Croatia, where accommodation standards are pretty high, so I'm used to a certain level of quality wherever I stay. That said, I always try to be fair, and for every issue I mention, I’ll offer a solution (dear hotel staff, please don’t curse my family for the honesty?). • The location is fantastic – just a few minutes’ walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Basilica Cistern. The street feels safe and quiet. There's also a small local shop just 50 meters away for water and essentials. • The hotel staff? Polite, helpful, and all speak English – big plus. • Breakfast was good – simple but exactly what you need to start your day. • WiFi was solid at 20mbps – enough for calls, browsing, and planning your next Istanbul adventure. Final Thoughts: The hotel has a lot of potential, especially with its location and great staff. With a few upgrades (better soundproofing and bathroom cleaning), it could be a real gem. If you’re okay with a few trade-offs – it’s a great base for discovering Istanbul. • Ventilation: Runs 24/7. While you’re awake and chatting, it’s barely noticeable. But the moment you turn off the lights and try to sleep – the sound cuts through like a lightsaber. Solution: Bring earplugs. Don’t have any? Pharmacies nearby sell them. • Soundproofing: Pretty much nonexistent. You’ll hear every footstep in the hallway and every whisper next door. Solution: Earplugs again – your new best friend. • TV: Tiny. Like , it's comically small for the year 2025. We didn’t even bother turning it on, but for some, this might matter. Solution: You’re in Istanbul! With all the history and energy around, do you really need a TV? Go outside! • Breakfast logistics: Breakfast runs from 8:00–10:00, but by 8:20 the clean cups and glasses are already gone + coffee machine needs to be cleaned every 10 - 15 min ( depending how many people are on the breakfast atm ) Solution: Be an early bird and take the cup you want or come after 9:00! • Bathroom cleanliness: The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest – black grout and mold starting to show under the silicone. Solution: Flip-flops in the shower. After a couple of exhausting days exploring the city, you won’t even care anymore. Btw, we didn’t get a room that was shown on the pictures that are in Booking.com!

Superb

Breakfast was not good for Turkish standards. I was there during Ramadan and breakfast (suhoor) was underwhelming and cheapish. They did not even bother to make fresh tea. room was in a different building- had to walk through a short alleyway

the location of the hotel was perfect, the hotel staff were nice and helpful especially Emrah at the reception. the cleaning staff were amazing. the room was clean and beautiful every single day, with the wonderful view of the Sultanamet mosque

Passable

Hotel is well positioned just behind the Blue mosque could be a great good value for money Hotel but !. The advert is totally misleading showing a roof top restaurant but this was closed and dirty ! Ok we are in the end of March ! Which leaves the tiny Hotel entrance the only place you can sit down to relax but the Hotel staff are always sat there either having a meal or glued to their mobile phones . We were so relieved we hadn’t booked half board as it’s served in a gloomy basement with 2 very unhappy women glaring out of the kitchen and another bloke again glued to his mobile phone . Come on !! I know that we are all glued to our mobile phones and although this didn’t bother us this is a Hotel for gods sake ! And know they are not all like this in Turkey as this is not our first visit . Breakfast was ok with a good choice of things you would never imagine having for your breakfast ! We asked for a vue and got a relatively good room to one side of the hotel with a vue of a bit of the mosque . Unfortunately the toilet flush system didn’t work so we notified who we think was the manager ( man with glasses ? ) first thing in the morning, who told us it would be repaired during the day . We arrived back that evening to find that the toilet still didn’t work and was now leaking all around its base . Again we went down to reception and there was another guy there who knew nothing about our toilet problem and would get it sorted whilst we went out for a meal . When we got back later the only solution for them was to change us to another inside smaller room with a vue of a wall . Ok ! These things happen ! Recap : Our stay was ok but such a shame as it could have been a lot better if run better .

Great central location and helpful staff.

Exceptional

The Brakefast was ok. The location is excellent. most of staff were accommodating. The top shower was broken, so we could not use it. the tea and coffee station wasn't being replenished daily, had to ask for it. the single beds were too narrow, I fell off of it a couple of times. cobwebs on the celling and rubbish under the beds.

I like the location of the hotel. Further, it was also clean Nothing, all good
