Han 1772 Hotel

Nice charming hotel with historical facts about it Lack of elevator is a real pain for me because I have Arthritis in my knees. The music at night from the restaurant can be heard in my room. I had to sleep with earplugs! This should not happen for a nice hotel like this. Wi-fi is very slow. The hotel allows the public to come in and take pictures of the restaurant. So everyday, a line up of women will stand and pose as movie stars to take pictures in the corridor blacking the passage way.

The House was a renovated historical building in the center of the old town. The room (suite) was spacious and the restaurant was very beautiful (seems to be a hot spot for instagram pictures) For a supposedly five star hotel the cleanliness of the bathroom and floors left a lot to wish. The room was dark and loud (but then I guess this is unavoidable in the center) and the staff was busy with their phones whenever we passed them. The restaurant, while very nice was very expensive and does not reach the quality of comparable high end restaurants in Germany

Fantastic location, right in the middle of Eminonu/Sirkeci/Fatih area. Nice, although expensive, restaurant inside. Room and bathroom without natural ventilation, some dampness, pillows not of 5* level, loud music until 12-1 am every day of the week

Beautiful property in the heart of main sites. Clean and lovely room. The shower and products are amazing. Staff were helpful. I would stay again and again!

I have literally fell in love with Han hotel . They have provided an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. Everything exceeded my expectations. Every single staff member I encountered was professional, attentive, and held themselves to the highest standards of service. They went above and beyond by offering complimentary drinks and providing wonderful recommendations for the places I was planning to visit. The level of care and attention to detail truly made this stay exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a flawless luxury experience. I can’t think of anything i disliked tbh

The location was perfect , the rooms are beautiful and comfortable The restaurant is also amazing we had dinner dare the staff was again superb and the food so good Will definitely go back . Nothing everything was amazing

Beautiful historical property in the heart of beautiful Istanbul

Location is the best I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. Some of the staff members had a bit of an attitude, which made the stay less pleasant. The room had a strong moldy smell, and it wasn’t possible to call from room to room. The internet connection was very poor, and the staircase felt quite dangerous. The building itself is beautiful and historic, which is a shame because it could be an amazing place with better care and maintenance. It seems like the management focuses more on the restaurant businesses than on the hotel guests and rooms.

Staff were great. Location was close to all the sites/attractions in old town. Great vibe to the restaurant and bar.

Such a charming place to stay, rooms with vaulted ceilings look so unique, beautiful bathrooms with marble tile throughout. I was concerned about music and smoke but rooms are well isolated, so we didn’t hear or smell anything. The staff were friendly and very responsive! Highly recommended! ??

Beautiful, tastefully renovated spaces, quiet rooms, gorgeous courtyard with a great restaurant. Very helpful and kind staff. The hotel is located in the heart of Sultanahmed area with all the historical important sites. We would love to come back and enjoy it again.

It is really a restaurant with hotel rooms. No amenities and an indifferent staff. The restaurant plays loud music until 2am that is really disruptive if sleep is your goal at night.

Exceptional

Extremely well decorated building and rooms, great location and very friendly staff. This is not really a hotel, it’s a restaurant that rents a few rooms upstairs. It is very noisy every night up to 1am (more due to poor isolation of the bedroom doors rather than the noise itself). Although warned about the noise, it was still much worse than expected. Beds (mattresses, linen, pillows and duvet) should have been much better for a 5* hotel

Exceptional

in the middle of Sirkeći area , yet still so quiet and has walkable distsnce to many attractions & restaurants. - I liked the hotel style , it was unique full of historical vibes .. Very clean. The staff were polite, helpfull and kind . - Very clean rooms, smily, conscientious worker, excellent quality bed sheets and, excellent hygiene products. - Thr rooms have very poor lighting ! due to very weak l.e.d strip lighting were put all over the place . At night, you can't see well to dress up and get yourself ready to go out. cannot even read a book in your bed before sleeping . We had to buy a powerful bulb and replaced it with the small dim bulb we had in our only floor stand lamp in the room.. - We've booked two rooms, one Deluxe room for our daughter and the other was King Suite for us. We found the two rooms were fully identical in size and the room that they claimed was a suite was not related to photoes of the suite on booking , also inside what they claimed was a suite the clothing hanging space was far fewer than the other room? We felt tht we were tricked , and when we objecteded they claimed they would tell their manager the next day and the matter would be solved !! but they did nothing for the next eight nights. - Unfortunately, the hotel administration allows smoking in the corridor infront of the rooms and places seats and ashtrays , which leads to a strong smoke smell inside the rooms, causing me constant severe Asthma, runny nose and eye tears throughout my stay . This is the most ridiculous thing a hotel in the whole world has done. - The hotel does not serve a decent breakfast! It rents its own restaurant to an outdoor restaurant company whose breakfast is not included in the room price and very pricy and expensive. Which obliges us to go out daily for breakfast outside even if it is cold or rainy.
