I did not like anything. Horrible and scariest street. No one sits at reception. There are no services available! Do not book it ever!

Naz Hotel Bazaar is kind of newly renovated. It has balcony but the view of my balcony only looks at the neighbor's building. The good thing about this hotel is : it is quite cheap and affordable. The room a bit spacious to compare to other budget hotel around the area. It got elevator which could accommodate to 2-3 people only. But at least you do not have to lift your heavy luggage with the stairs. The staff, on my first night checked in (I believe he might be the owner of the hotel) was so attentive and very helpful. Very nice and friendly. We arrived late night around 10pm (Istanbul time) was too exhausted with the long flight, he helped us to order food online. There is a small groceries store nearby. The downside of the hotel is that, it is located in a small hilly street. It might be quite difficult for elderly people who have knee problem. At night the street quite dark. It is still safe, but not safe perhaps for a single woman, who needs to walk alone at night. Around 8pm, the street already quite and most of the shops around is closed. The street towards the hotel lobby also full of rubbish and dirty. Taxi is pretty difficult to enter the area. Therefore, if you does not like to walk and always ride a taxi to your desired destination, this hotel is not good for you. But if you like to walk and does not mind with the hilly street, then, this hotel is good for you. To ask me, whether I will come back to this hotel, I would say, no. This is because, I am a type of traveller who love a lively vibrant atmosphere. This hotel, is quite far from the hustle and bustle city like 15 minutes walk away.

Staff very welcoming! My girlfriend and I paid extra for a triple room with balcony to make our stay comfortable. On arrival we were told that all triple room were fully booked and so we were offered a double room. Although we were very upset about this , We agreed to switch to a triple room on day 3 of 6. On day 3 we switched to a triple room (without balcony) The beds had red stains on the mattress. Due to extremely loud guests and after not receiving the room we payed for we decided to leave 2 days early so we could salvage our last 2 days in Istanbul. The hotel also refused a refund request for the amount we over payed on booking a triple room and being supplied a double room at no fault of our own.

Location is good, with close distance to communication and all historical monuments. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is located in an industrial area, so you can expect noise from early morning or generators running late into the night. Rooms are not soundproof.
