All the rooms in the hotel had toilets inside the room, separated only by a kind of screen, making it feel very primitive. When we first arrived, the receptionist didn’t speak Turkish or even English and just indicated that only cash payments were accepted, pointing to the door. If we weren’t so exhausted and in need of rest, it would be the last place anyone would choose. They gave us a smaller room than the one we had booked, and when we pointed out the mistake, they responded rudely, saying, “You’re only staying one night.” Without even staying a full night, we left by the evening. It was truly a terrible experience—don’t go there!

It was cheap, it was close to taksim square No key to open the front door, had to ring the bell every time you wanted to enter which got very annoying after a while. There was an insanely overpowering smell of musk air freshener in the whole place that was trying to cover up the smell of sewage that was very strong and that also got annoying very quick being stuck in the elevator with that smell. shower was mouldy and the receptionist was not very accomodating and he made us feel uncomfortable which is why we didn’t like having to ring the bell to get in. I don’t regret going there cos it was so cheap but I wouldn’t go again

I had a great stay at this hotel in Istanbul! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is fantastic, situated in a quiet area where you can't hear the noise from Taksim. However, be prepared for some steep uphill and downhill walks. One thing to note is that during my stay, I didn't notice any cleaning service in my room, and there was a bit of mold in some places, but overall the cleanliness was good. The terrace is wonderful, and there's a shared kitchen available for guests. The host is very friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more pleasant. A small inconvenience is that they only accept cash payments, even though the website states that cards are accepted. Despite that, I highly recommend this place! Cleaning Payment issues
