Excellent location and friendly staff. Big room with 2x king beds, bathroom. View from room. Was on top floor. Close to supermarket, bazaars, important buildings. Very quiet at night. Good shower. Plenty of drinkable water. Breakfast was not up to standard. Curtains did not cover the window. No coffee or tea in room

I had a great stay at Nika otel & cafe! The location was perfect—close to everything I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a good variety of options. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend!

A very small hotel but well located, very close to the Blue Mosque. We had a big room with two big size double beds. The mattress were extremely comfortable. Plenty of towels, drinkable water, tea bags, a frigo, water heater, big tv. They cleaned the room everyday and changed the dirty towels. Personal were very polite and attentive. Breakfast a bit simple, not very good quality products but it was enough to start the day. Great views at night of the Blue Mosque all illuminated. Stairs were narrow, big steps, that were not a problem for us but they should mention that in the info in case you are a person with reduced mobility. Curtains were old and a bit ripped out and they were too short to cover all the windows, too much clarity in the morning. Breakfast not of the best quality.

We had a pleasant stay at Nika Otel during our visit to Istanbul. The location is truly perfect—just a short walking distance from all the main tourist attractions, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were amazing—very helpful and exceptionally friendly, especially with our kids. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even surprising our 7-year-old daughter with balloons for her birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our experience memorable. However, the hotel’s narrow and steep stairs with only ropes for support were a bit of a downside. They felt unsafe, especially for children, so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with little ones. Breakfast was decent, served from 8 to 10 a.m., and their tea was particularly enjoyable. Overall, while there are some minor drawbacks, the hospitality and location more than make up for it. A great option for families and travelers looking to explore Istanbul! The hotel’s narrow and steep stairs with only ropes for support were a bit of a downside. They felt unsafe, especially for children, so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with little ones.

We would like to give overall score 9 out of 10 for Nika Otel & Cafe. The best features of this hotel are the location, breakfast, and kindness of the staffs. The location of our family room is at the 4th floor, but without lift available. However the staffs are very kind and help us moving big luggages from and to the room.

This is the nice cozy hotel. The staff is so friendly and ready to help you with everything. The breakfast is very good for such a small hotel. There are eggs, french toasts, a wide selection of cheeses, sweets, coffee, tea, etc. The hotel is in the historical center. The room was quite clean. I highly recommend this place to stay.

The staff in the morning were ok and friendly. The staff when booking in the evening were terrible! There’s is no lift, we were on the top floor with awful stair case! Having to carry a 24kg case up those stairs was terrible. Would not recommend this hotel unless you are traveling light or have no luggage!!!!
