Broken bed. No ventilation in the room. No windows. Very loud at night and not possible to sleep in peace until 5:00 am. Smelly bathrooms. No safe lock.

There was black mold in the bathrooms. My sheets hadn’t been changed from the previous traveler. There was a vent right next to my bed that spewed out cigarette smoke during the night/parties.

I would like to stay there again

There is loud music all night long until morning.

What I loved the most was the terrace — it's my favorite spot here, perfect for relaxing. The staff is very polite and always ready to help. Breakfasts are delicious and filling. Great location: close to a bus stop, not far from the metro, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. I got bitten by bedbugs — my arms, legs, and even neck were affected. The management said they would take care of the issue, and I hope they do.

If I’m in Istanbul again, I will definitely stay in this hostel

In the center. Nearby nightlife, shopping and public transportation. Nice rooftop and restaurant. Do not hesitate to book!

The staff do not speak english at all, the photos of the property are completely different, there was no TV in the room, not even a trash bin!! Our private room was located inside the dormitory, we were lucky to be the only ones in the whole floor, mybe!! There is absolutely no social room here and not the slightest international vibe. We almost did not see anyone during the whole stay. The noise and loud music of the neighboring club didn't let us sleep until 6 A.M!! The sheets and blankets were not clean and full of stains!! I absolutely do not recommend it

Lovely personnel, super friendly, central location, free all you can breakfast included, love to roam the little side streets around the hostel as they feel so safe and cosy, close to Istikal street, all your shopping needs are taken care of in a tiny radius and the food is delicious. Room had a fridge which is great and a really nice shower with a movable hose. The pubs under the window are super loud until late in the morning (4 or so), but that lulls me to sleep and I personally find it very soothing. If you need silence to sleep, that this hostel is not for you. The rooms are clean enough, however, no vermin or anything, nice cosy stay except for the 'clean dirt' of the sheets. The location is perfect and I will definitely book again, love the staircase and the view from the restaurant. They offer a great selection of foods and they are very tasty dishes. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond, this is something I was greatly pleased with. The bed sheets were stained, but the hostel staff explained to me the novel concept of 'clean dirt' - old stains that could not ve removed by washing ... Still I wish they bleached the stains out as that was really uncomfortable for me, to come into the room and find brown poop shade stains on my sheets The hygiene level of the kitchen is sub par, and I wished the cleaner sid their job better. I opened the microwave and I was disgusted, whereby I do not have high standards when travelling. It was obvious that nobody had cleaned it in months, no excuses for that kind of neglect. Also, our room was equipped with a kitchen but no pots, pans or cutlery save for two spoons and a fork. The 'locker' I got did not have a lock, which was unsettling but I simply bought a piece of chain from the hardware store and locked my Stuff in a kitchen cupboard since they were all empty anyway. I wish the breakfast had some sucuk, turkish delight, goat or sheep cheese and scrambled eggs every now and then and now the same each day. I would also like the possibility to warm the bread (a toaster) and little bags of salt, but for the sake of simplicity their way works perfectly.
