Ada Hotel Istanbul

We had one of those apartments with balcony. Better apartment as expected, comfortable, large, the photos were real + air condition. Wifi was OK. Good equipped kitchen. Excellent location, close to restaurants, small markets, many historical sites, tram stop. Balcony included. Helpful staff with good english.

Beautiful river view from our room! The location was in easy walking distance to the Sultanahmet Square and also a short walk down to a waterfront area with lots of bars and restaurants. The breakfast was especially nice compared to other places we visited in Turky and the two women who ran it were so kind, fun and efficient. They made the best mosaic cake I have ever had! Our room was quite large and the shower was very good and had plenty of hot water. There was ample space to put our toiletries in our room called the Ottoman Suite with a Sea View. The windows opened partially to get fresh air and the A/C also worked well. The bed was big and comfortable with an armoire in the extra living space to store our clothes. It was nice to have a sofa. They provided us with fresh drinking water daily, too. Very clean. Their breakfast room is on the top floor with a lovely sea view. The men at the front desk were very helpful. Across the street was a great restaurant with a friendly owner called "My Terrace" where we often had dinner. We really enjoyed our 5 nights here. Wished we had a balcony given the sea view but we were happy with our room.

It was very homy and cozy. Staff very nice and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable with all amenities. Very comfortable bed. The location was perfect, everything nearby, whether sightseeing, shopping or just walking around. The cherry on the cake is the breakfast with a stunning view on the phosphore. I can’t have enough of it. The food was great and the ladies preparing were very welcoming and smiling. Will come back again! Everything was great!

Location, caring employees, great shower, views

Breakfast was great, nice view and friendly ladies there tending to our every need. Internet was sometimes slow and went down at one point, staff did reboot system eventually.

We made a private hotel booking for 4.30am transport to airport.. Driver was 15 minutes late, and half way through the trip pulled off to refuel. Not satisfactory.

Loved the fresh fruit, juice & tea.

Location is near by all attraction Hotel at hilly slop so elderly people & child with stroller may find it challenging

Close to everything, yet quiet and calm. It feels like being a quest in the home of friends. Fantastic sea views from our room. Comfortable room and breakfast. No real concerns.

An excellent location with a diverse breakfast selection. Breakfast is served on the top floor, offering an excellent view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is quaint and features a comfortable bed.

We stayed in the apartment section of this hotel. The apartments were excellent, fully equipped kitchens and washer and dryer. Great location! Easy walk to all the major old city attractions. Good sea views from the bedrooms. Very friendly staff especially the breakfast ladies. Breakfast is a traditional Turkish meal, not American. Highly recommend this facility particularly the apartments. All was good.

the apartments could use some love and care - they do need some thorough cleaning and partial renovation. the bedroom has such a beautiful view yet the windows are dirty. the bathroom needs attention as well if you are a light sleeper the penthouse apt is not your option - there's some huge yellow thing (a generator? a water boiler? idk) on the roof that makes loud engine noise and vibrates through the walls

Everything was great!

The reception and service staff were excellent. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location was a 5 min walk from the Blue Mosque. Very convenient to all restaurants and shops.

Those are my main criteria, and this property meets all of them. 3rd floor annex apartment, cute building, quiet street, about 3-5-minute uphill walk to main hotel. I would stay here again. Highlights: • Beautiful view of the Sea of Marmara • Enclosed all-weather balcony • Double-paned windows • High quality sheets • Spacious apartment • Dedicated tap for filtered drinking water! • Generous and delicious breakfast with great view (8:30-10:30) • Management communicative prior to arrival To note: • Beds are VERY firm • The annex is at the bottom of a 20-30 degree (steep) hill with typical Istanbul cobblestone, about 10-minute walk uphill to tram • Airport transfer booked through hotel required payment in cash Euro or USD directly to hotel desk, not car company Amenities provided: • Shampoo • Hand and bath soap • Laundry detergent • Dish soap • Salt/pepper Amenities I wish were here: • Tissues • Washcloth • Dish towel • Conditioner • Cooking utensils other than the 1 spatula and 1 wooden spoon • Maintenance issues reported day 1 (safe doesn’t work, toilet seat loose, kitchen faucet handle needs repair). Safe fixed 2 days later. Other items not fixed during 6-day stay.

The apartment was clean as a whistle, light and airy. Everything we needed was provided, including drinkable water. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, especially Merve. The breakfast ? was AMAZING!! The bed was quite hard. It needs a foam pad to make it more comfortable. Also, the toilet seat is VERY wide. A kid would fall in! It was uncomfortable. Finally, the apartment is at the bottom of the hill from the hotel, a very STEEP walk.
