Hotel Daphne - Special Class

Location, staff, facilities, breakfast in the roof Air conditioner No A/C in the reception and room A/C a little weak especially when we leave and remove the card and come back because of the heat it takes a long time to cool the room. Istanbul is very hot in July and when we return after a long hot day we would like to come to a cold comfortable room. In spite of this I enjoyed my stay a lot and I am definitely going to go back.

We recently stayed here during our vacation in Istanbul, and we were absolutely delighted! The accommodation was excellent, and the breakfast was fantastic. What truly stood out was the staff, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. We had a wonderful experience and gladly give them a perfect 10/10. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Honestly, there wasn't much to complain. The elevator was on the smaller side, so there was a bit of a wait during the morning rush. However, these were very small inconveniences compared to the overall quality of the stay.

The view from the terrace where breakfast is served I felt a bit canalization smell in the bathroom, but it didn’t bother much.

Perfect location, walking distance to all the major sites (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Cisterns, etc.) The room was spacious and clean with updated furnishings, and I had an amazing view of the Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque and Sea of Marmara. I felt very safe here staying as a solo female traveler and appreciated the recommendations from the front desk. They also arranged my transportation to and from the airport, which was a huge help as I arrived very late. The view from the roof is beautiful and it was very nice to grab a quick breakfast before heading out for a busy day of touring around the city. If you book transportation through the hotel, be sure to have cash (euros) to reimburse them with! I did not have euros and had to stop at an ATM the next day. The staff were gracious about this.

Just about everything, excellent location near the major old city attractions and many restaurants plus a nearby mini market. It was very clean and quiet, good hot water and WiFi. The first morning the shower head was broken but during the day they replaced it without me even having to ask. Very reasonable price for the location. The air con remote was sometimes a little tricky to use, maybe because batteries in it were getting low.

It was clean Not like the pictures at all. Room was very small. No iron, tissue paper and toilet paper in the room at arrival. No tissue paper in room. The breakfast was bad. It was leftovers from previous days. I stayed there for 6 nights and they kept serving the leftover of the same cake everyday. Less options and variety. Balcony is much smaller than what you see in pictures with only two umbrellas so basically you can't sit there because of the sun.

Good location, only about 5 minutes walk to Grand Bazzar and Blue Mosque. And very nice staffs. They offered us a cruise program which was wonderful place and attractions. Thank you.

Everything is great at the Daphne. We love it. Nothing is wrong.
