The buffet breakfast was terrible it was also cold, and in one of the rooms it smelled like the sewerage. Also the bed sheets had lint all over it and one of the ac’s weren’t working.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had an awesome view of the river, bridge and mosques from the window/ balcony. The place was quiet and in the ideal location! I walked everywhere I wanted to go for a few days. The place is small- but right price: value ratio.

I had a wonderful experience with the breakfast at Albatros Hagia Sophia Hotel. The variety of options was excellent....everything was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. We had our breakfast downstairs at the lobby. What made the experience even better was the staff. Thanks to Iroda and Firas for going out of your way to make sure that the guests felt comfortable and satisfied.

Room facilities such as many usb chargers were excellent and my room had a balcony with view to Haiga Sophia. Breakfast had a wide choice of foods. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic. There was nothing I didn't like. They could put a bit more water in your fridge on arrival, but the desk staff were quick to address this for me. The rooms were clean and adequate and good for the price range.

Very nice hotel , great location , walking distance to Sultanahmet square, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. Tram stops and metro station near by. Breakfast is included and was very good. The room was clean and spacious with big terrace. Air conditioning worked well as it was hot during our stay. There are many good restaurants in the area but our favorite was seafood place next door. The stuff was polite and friendly . Special thanks to Dmitri for arranging transfers from / to airport and help with local information.

I have done so much research before booked in Istanbul and let me tell you this Albatros Hagia Sophia Hotel offers the perfect blend of location, comfort, and hospitality. Just steps away from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, it’s ideal for exploring the historic Sultanahmet area. The rooms are clean and cozy, some with charming balcony views. Breakfast is fresh and varied, with a lovely local touch. What truly sets this hotel apart is the warm, attentive staff—especially Era —who go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. A great value stay for travelers seeking authentic comfort in Istanbul. Absolutely not a single thing

Great location. Sultanahmet square was a 5 min walk. Very accommodating staff. Also offer good transport services and some tours. Breakfast buffet was good and had various options. Rooms and especially bathroom were a bit small a d needs more storage and hooks in the room

Location He made us pay for 2 rooms when he had a room with 2 beds and refused to refund. It was a rip off

excellent breakfast and location. excellent service too! The first room with balcony was just too small. I wish they had reserved a larger room for us as they did when we checked in the second time.

The size of the ground floor family rooms was wonderful. Staff were excellent and friendly. Service was great. Great value for money. Good breakfast options. One of the bathrooms could do with some general maintenance and upgrade.

Everything was clean, de bed was comfortable. Everyday, our room was cleaned, trash cans were emptied and we were given clean towels. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The location was also perfect with only a few minutes walk to the Hagia Sophia. There was still some water left in the kettle when we wanted to use it for the first time, not that big of a deal but still a little weird.

Cleaners came everyday, breakfast was mix of hot and cold options, staff willing to help, 10% discount on food from adjoining restaurant. Good money for four star, building a little old but overall great

Location of property was great for all the main attractions. Breakfast was good and it was great that drinks/tea etc were available throughout the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay again. The glass opaque doors for the bathrooms were questionable. Not 100% private. The smell of cigarette was unpleasant in the hotel but you can’t escape that in Istanbul unfortunately.
