Me and my dad had an amazing stay! The place is very neat and clean, the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The neighborhood is quiet and safe however close to Taksim square. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. Special thanks goes to Fatih, he is doing an awesome job! I liked everything. :)

Our stay was amazing! Every member of the staff was extremely helpful, always available, and very hospitable. They made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the facilities we needed. The hotel is also very well located. As two girls traveling together, we felt completely safe both at the hotel and in the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

I traveled with a friend. We had the room on the top, with 2 rooms. There was lots of storing space. The balconies were lovely. Actually they are wonderful for sunrises and late night talks. The stuff was friendly but not too intrusive. They gave us an entry key to the hotel. We felt like home. The street the hotel is located on is also lovely and not noisy. The shower needs some repair. Its door is hard to open/close. But the shower itself works well.

-Friendly & helpful staff, they assisted us with all the things that we needed. Many thanks! There is also a nice cat "working" at the reception desk ;) -Modern and clean apartment, good WiFi -Convenient location, in the city center, near Taksim Square, with lots of shops (many of them open 24/7), food places, beauty centers etc. -Complimentary water bottles found in the fridge were appreciated. Some noise from the street/surroundings.

The location was great, No water , no coffee provided, They do not clean rooms, the shower head was broken, the toilet seat was loose so when you sit on it, it moves.
-
The staff were welcoming and the location is quiet and near taksim Street and metro, buses, and worth the pay. Nothing to actually, only some outside morning noise i think due to some construction going on.

I stayed 5 nights at Calanthe Residence in Istanbul in August. The conditions inside the hotel were very good: clean, comfortable rooms, just as described. The surroundings, however, are not very attractive and feel like a run-down neighborhood. Paradoxically, it is very close to the city center, so once you get past the outside impression, the location is actually convenient. Overall, the hotel itself delivered a pleasant stay.

5 minute walk from Taksim square, yet rather quiet location. Convenient balcony overlooking backyard and city connected to the room (2nd floor). Welcoming and polite staff.

The staff are super friendly! Room is clean and with good amenities. Also not far to the station. Nothing to complain!

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The location is good: the bus from the airport goes directly to the Taksim square which is 10 min from the hotel, metro station and the Istiklal street are nearby. There is a small supermarket just around the corner. In the room there is a lot of place to store you things and hang your clothes. There are amenities, slippers, tea kettle, complimentary water bottles and tea, mini fridge (but be careful: the electricity can be turned off when you are out, which is not the hotel fault, but your food can go bad in the fridge). The water pressure and temperature in the shower was good, when they water supply was fixed. When I arrived there was no water at the hotel. The handymen were repairing the water supply, and it was not great to not be able to take a shower after the flight. The water was restored the same day at 6 p.m. though. The room I was having supposed to have a garden view, which was not really a garden, but a terrace surrounded by walls with barb wire on top of them. There were table and chairs outside and a few plants, which is nice, but it's not a garden. It's also impossible to open the terrace doors in the night, because of the noise outside: mostly the cats were screaming very loudly, so I recommend to bring earplugs with you. The shower is old, rusty, a bit mouldy in the corners, and the water flows out of the shower cabin. A few things were falling apart: e.g. parts of a radiator and a flush button on the toilet.

The staff was amazing, very friendly and nice. The location was great, right next to Taksim Square and the main Istiklal street. The Kabataş port was like a 20 min walk. The room was clean and good for the price. The room was a little outdated and the bathroom needed some renovation.

The stuff was amazing and kind, always available to support and give us tips about the city. The terraces were beautiful and perfect for a breakfast on one side, and drinking in the evening on the other. The beds were decently comfy There was no lift till 3rd floor. The ceiling was a bit too low, since it was the last floor. Sometimes we were running out of water. Probably a city issue

Great place and it was really clean. The hosts were excellent and very accommodating!

The first day there was construction work right next door but the same day they stopped due to holidays. The employees were very helpful and understanding. They offered us room upgrade after we complained about broken bed in the current room. The updated room with the kitchen was new, very clean and had everything needed for cooking, also there was a terrace with outdoor dining area. Moreover, the noise cancellation was good as this room is not facing the main street. Initial room number 6 was outdated, the bed was almost broken, the table light didn’t work, the handle of the bathroom door was also broken. There was noise at night from the main street.
