Galatahan Hotel

Location is good, breakfast was too traditionally, too oily. Not matching with a cup of coffee. People were polite and warm Restroom door was not locked, The top of the door was open. Which means your roommate can smell and hear everything. Window was weak and noisy from street. If u're travelling with your a friend, beds would be too close with each other!

Everything is around you 5min away from galata tower, 6min from metro , tram , bus station . 10min from bosfur عبارة . All kind of transportation is just next to you Staff were so helpful nice and friendly. Room is so esthetic ? I’ll definitely come back Maybe breakfast should be better even tho there variety and all was clean .

The location was good The room was clean & well kept The breakfast was good The bathroom/shower door didn't shut and the floor got wet. The beds made lots of noise when one of us moved.

The location was perfectly centrally located. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay. We were near the stairs and at times it was little loud.

Location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance to the Karakoy waterfront, and to very good Turkish food restaurants. Karakoy is also a Tramvay station and connects you to almost all touristy destinations and to all other Metro lines covering Istanbul. We did not have to rely on taxis at all during our 7-day stay. We were traveling with 2 children and requested for early checkin. The reception team went out of the way to accommodate us and assigned us our rooms 3 hours earlier. The all-you-can-eat breakfast, which was included in the price, was very generous in choices and quality of Turkish foods cereals and beverages. The service was very family-friendly and personal. Mr Erdogan merits special appreciation. He and his team made us feel at home. One of the 3 rooms assigned to us on the 4th floor had a beautiful view of the waterfront and the city Galatahan will be our first choice on any future visits to Istanbul. Two of the three rooms assigned were cramped for space, even for the luggage carried. They also offered no view of the outside. The toilets in all three rooms were impractically small and cramped and offered minimum privacy.

Location is perfect Very tight rooms, extremely tight. Only one employee is there in the hotel, so service was very slow.

Run down facilities; windows stuck, ac not working one day which led to overly heated room in november.

Great location, right in the touristy and busy Galata neighborhood, but still very quiet and pleasant. Excellent buffet spread and very friendly staff!
