Everyone was so very kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was over the top generous! Quiet stay to the north of the city. Nice hilly walking and we preferred this Galata area over downtown. So many great restaurants!! Thank you so much!! No view, but that made it quiet except for a few fighting gulls!!

Perfect stay!! Will book this without hesitation for our next trip.

The breakfast was great, small plates of this and that, very Turkish. The service was excellent. The location was also excellent, it’s a short but steep walk up to Galata Tower and all the lively and loud restaurants, close, but did not impact the hotel. I liked it all, it’s a boutique, about 4 units, all well appointed in tastefully done stone and copper. The neighborhood down hill is comprised of many hardware stores. It’s a short walk to the tram which can take you to the Blue Mosque, etc. Don’t let anyone help you with the tram tickets at the kiosk, they’re scammers and will charge your card to some free tram rides for themselves. Also I highly advise hiring a tour for the sites in Sultanahmet. You get an excellent guide and you cut the lines.

Location on an odd/rougher street

1- Location is unmatched, 5 min away from Galata Tower, and 5 min away from Galata bridge (to cross to Syultan Ahmet area) 2- The breakfast was 5 stars level 3- The staff were all very friendly and helpful The wooden roof is a bit noisy and does not have a proper sound proof, but it's a minor problem and does not spoil the experience

The room was stunning, preserving the old stone and brick of the neighborhood, but also using beautiful, real marble for accents and for the bathroom. The decor is very elegant and comfortable. The shower is good, wifi works, good sound insulation, great staff, excellent breakfast and amazing location a few minutes walk from Galata tower and also a few minutes walk from the tram station and promenade by the Golden Horn. Despite having only 3 floors, the hotel has a spacious elevator! Truly a joy to have stayed here. Did not want to leave! There really was nothing I did not like. Everything was wonderful!

The hotel is new and really small, and has only a few rooms, which is good in terms of privacy. The room is really nice, exactly like the pictures, renewed, spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is also nice. The location in Galata is 5 minutes walking from the tower, and has some nice bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were polite. Being a renewed older building, the rooms don’t have any sound isolation whatsoever, so you can hear pretty clearly other guests walking and talking. On the first night we had problems with the AC that wasn’t working, but it was solved by the staff. But on the next day we had a water leakage from the ceiling, that didn’t stop until next morning, apparently due to the central air conditioning system. Also one morning the oven was broken and there was no breakfast, so we had to go to the sister hotel nearby. So, basically since it is a new hotel, they are still suffering a little with the operation.

Stone Inn Galata is a boutique hotel in a beautiful old building in the heart of Galata. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Morad who prepared our fantastic breakfast. The room was spotless and had a beautiful curved brick ceiling. Our room had window access only to a small courtyard, so we unfortunately had no natural light.

Beautiful hotel - very central and close to all main attractions. Rooms are in perfect conditions and beautifully decorated and super clean. Evan’s who welcomed us was outstanding, very friendly and kind. He went above and beyond for us. A true gem. He delivered us a coffee every morning. We will be back for sure.

The Stone Inn was so beautiful — everything is so clean, it’s a great location, and the staff were all so lovely and accommodating. The rooms are designed beautifully and really comfortable. I didn’t want to leave! I liked everything to be honest!

The location, the staff, the decor of the room were all wonderful! It's quite new and everything is exactly as shown on the pictures if not better! There is probably nothing can be done for this but it felt like the building has no soundproofing. It may be due to the building being very old and have been renovated as a hotel? This may be a big problem once the hotel is up and running. We were able to hear the music from the reception, all the steps/walking from the above, all the conversation going on in both the upstairs room and below reception.
