Great location. Hotel was clean. Expectations play a big part if any review, and in this case I expected better.( Probably my fault). Hotel is basic on all levels. If you just want somewhere to rest in a good location, then you will be fine. Breakfast was basic. Room and Facilities basic and a little tired. On the whole it was clean, but has seen better days. Ignore the "boutique and Palace " from the name. More of a backpackers type of vibe.

Staff was really good especially the Ebru. Location is really nice easy to every where even on walking distance.

Pretty much everything. The place is clean to the very last corner. Beds are very comfortable. Its location is superb, barely a 5min walk to the main attractions. Staff are attentive, really friendly and helpful. Breakfast offer is plentiful and delicious. Reception is always covered and they take care of your keys so you are not worried of losing them when you are out and about. If I return to Istanbul, this will be my place of choice! Hard to say as everything was well thought to give guests a pleasant experience. I guess the place could do with a bit of DYI (for example, the headboard in my room needed glueing back to the wall and the shower door was cracked and needed replacing); however none of these things bothered me or stopped me from having a good rest

Out of several hotels I stayed at during my trip this was my favourite in spite of being the cheapest. It was very comfortable. Very clean. Good WiFi. Very welcoming reception and other personnel. It is a small hotel located in a narrow quiet street a few minutes walk from Sultanahmet, the Spice Bazaar, Sirkeci train station. I liked breakfast - a selection of simple but fresh products. Great value for money I would also recommend an excellent restaurant with authentic local cuisine next to the hotel. It’s where locals eat - therefore, food is excellent and not expensive. Would definitely stay there again

The location is fantastic, and Ebru was very nice and helpful for everything

Perfect location, kind and really helpful staff, and unbeatable value. The building is a bit old, but the rooms have been recently refurbished, and the lift works without problems. Don't miss the view from the terrace! I would surely come back if travelling to Istambul again. Rooms are a bit small. Still functional, and equipped with an electric kettle and a fridge.

The location is perfect, close to all important historical things to see in Istanbul and also close to shops and restaurants. Nice terrace to relax and enjoy the coffee or tea. The staff was so friendly and always ready to help. We're especially grateful to Ebru, who was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful with the cruise she arranged for us. -

The location was perfect! Very close proximity to all major attractions in the area (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cisterna, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazar, Süleymaniye Mosque). The hotel has a beautiful rooftop with an amazing panoramic view. We gathered every evening to admire the city lights, which added a great deal to the experience. There is also a good supermarket and plenty restaurants just outside the hotel. Both receptionists we interacted with provided us with great service and assistance, including an early breakfast for our early check-out! Ebru, in particular, was so helpful with the many advices she gave us every day and with the sunset cruise she arranged for us. I also liked that when I informed the reception that one of the bathroom doors was unbalanced, the issue was solved quickly and we had a perfect door for the rest of the stay. The rooms were cleaned every day, we were offered complimentary slippers, we received new towels every day and felt well taken care of. The breakfast was plentiful enough to keep us energized for most of the day. If we visit Istanbul again, we'll definitely choose this hotel again! Just one thing: The noise. Either the windows or the walls do not block enough sound, but as far as I understand this is to be expected from most buildings in this area of Istanbul, so there's not much the staff can do about it. Non-Muslim guests may go through a cultural shock and need to be warned that there is a loud prayer every morning starting at around 5:40AM until over 6AM. There is an extremely loud speaker near the hotel which makes it impossible to sleep when the prayer starts. This surprise was unfortunate for us, as we arrived after midnight and didn't get to sleep much in the first night. I recommend offering guests earplugs so they may have the option of sleeping through the prayer. Guests having loud arguments could be heard from their neighboring rooms, and loud guests from a nearby hotel were also disturbing the silence of the night.

and good value for the money The location of the hotel is super. Nice terrace to look at the city skyline view. If done more work on it it can be a great and nicer place to relax and enjoy the view. Nice breakfast. Great value for the money. It's not a fancy and luxurious hotel and for the value of the money it's good. We had a misunderstanding due to reservation and there was uncertainty about our stay. However it was not anyone's direct fault rather system error from booking.com reservation and hotel internal reservation. It was later resolved and the owner communicated with us patiently and accommodated us nicely.
