Very close to the T1 Tram, just a quick 10 minute walk. Excellent communication and hospitality from the staff, they helped me to secure a private airport transfer when I arrived very late into the night as a solo female traveler. Very loud construction outside, but perhaps that was just the exact time I was there. Terrace was closed, would have loved to use it. Very poor internet. Wish they offered breakfast, that would increase the value even more :)

The owner was very kind and helpful, taking the time to explain everything clearly. The location is great, with restaurants and cafés nearby, and the tram is only about a 5-minute walk away. Overall, it’s an excellent place for the price—I would definitely come again.

Pleasant stay, strategic location and super kind host!

I was close to the main attraction like Hagia Sophia and to the center of the old Town and close to the public transportation. Really worth the money.

The bed, the availability of the fridge, hot kettle, complimentary tea. The location is alright as well- there’s a tram nearby which takes you to pretty much wherever you want to go in Istanbul and tons of food places nearby. Nothing really. I think the only thing to be aware of is that the location is near the bottom of a hill- it wasn’t a problem for me as I packed light and I’m used to walking uphill. There is a taxi station nearby at the bottom of the hill.

Cleanliness Good value for money Nothing

Just good location. There is no elevator, the internet connection is very poor, and the bed is uncomfortable. The room and bathroom are very small. The biggest problem, however, was with the staff. The manager sent me a message claiming that my wife made a towel dirty with makeup and that they couldn’t wash it. My wife always uses good-quality makeup and powder, and we never had such a problem anywhere else. At the same time, the manager or his sister (who was cleaning the room) filled two bottles of my wife’s makeup powder with water and completely ruined them. We were shocked when we saw that. We have traveled to many different countries and never had such a bad experience or complaints from any hotel. In this place, not only did we receive complaints, but our personal belongings were also damaged. The manager even asked me to swear on the Quran that we didn’t damage our things ourselves. Later, he offered me 100 euros to cover the issue and keep quiet about it, but I refused because I believe other guests should know about our bad experience. For all future guests — please be very careful when booking this property.

It’s very difficult to get to the property with a bunch of luggages and you need to climb up the stairs. An access ramp will be helpful to pull in all those luggages instead of carrying 20kg of bag

Nothing At first, I was excited when I saw the high rating and thought I had found a great place. But when I arrived, I was quite surprised — this was not a hotel. The main entrance was closed, and the whole place gave me a feeling of insecurity and discomfort. The building was extremely small, with no elevator and a long staircase to get to my room. The bathroom was not clean and didn’t feel pleasant at all. Overall, I didn’t feel comfortable staying there. The location wasn’t convenient either — there were many stairs just to reach the entrance, and I had to rely on expensive taxis to get anywhere I wanted. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet my expectations.

Great hotel to stay. Good value for money. The location is great, in a quiet street, but in the center. Walkable to many attractions and restaurants. The owner is a very nice person. He can arrange you the transfer and any excursions. There is a nice terrace with a view to the sea. You can eat on the terrace and watch the sunset.
