Royan Suites

The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely and delicious. Right in the heart of all the action in the old city. The staff was kind and courteous. The patio was not as pictured in the photos so I didn't get the chance to sit outside. They were a bit run down but still facing away from the main street so more quiet. We were out exploring during our stay anyway so it didn't affect our experience, just felt worth mentioning. Otherwise, everything was comfy and served as a nice accommodation while exploring Istanbul.

I stopped here for my 20hr layover. I was about 50/50 on staying near the airport, or coming to the center. I am so happy I decided to come here. Fantastic stay, great location. The staff was super kind, showed me the amenities of my room when I came a little later in the evening, and offered help 24hrs a day. The included breakfast was also complete, very generous, and a very tasty sample of Turkey. A wonderful way to start the morning. The place was also super clean, and exactly what was needed after a lengthy trip.

I traveled to Istanbul for the first time with a friend, two girls in a new city and really loved this small boutique hotel. The breakfast was AMAZING! Location is perfect, you can walk everywhere from here. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful and we really felt at home and well taken care off. Dodo de hotel cat is sweet and beautiful. Everything was really really clean. We had the room with the garden which was also fantastic. This place is Perfect

Royan Suites is perfectly located, 5 minutes walking distance to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque as well as other historical sites as well as a nice bazaar and several high quality rooftop dining options with incredible views. Nothing that's worth reporting. :)

The room was lovely, very spacious and comfortable. It got quite noisy at night in the street below but I was there on a Friday and Saturday night.

The room on the 1st floor with patio is so close to the reception area, that you can hear all sounds, the patio is tiny and you can hardly see the sushine

Our stay at the hotel was exceptional, thanks to the wonderful service. The staff always greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to assist with our trip. The breakfast spread was impressive, and we loved having snacks and coffee available throughout the day. We were especially grateful for the room upgrade to one with a beautiful sea view!

The hotel I stayed at was Royan Suites Hagia Sophia. This is a different hotel from Royan Suites. If you are booking, you should be careful to pay attention to the name and book the correct hotel, the one that has Hagia Sophia after the name. The Royan Suites Hagia Sophia is a brand new hotel. It’s just a lovely hotel. The room was very nice and very comfortable. There was plenty of storage space for your clothes and a long sofa that came in handy for organizing my things. The room and the hotel facilities were very clean. The breakfast was wonderful. There was a lot of variety in both Turkish food and western food. They will prepare an omelette if you would like one. It was possible to get pretty much any coffee drink you want, just plain coffee, espresso, latte, cappuccinos and other coffee drinks, as well as tea. The location was great. It was 5 to 10 minutes walk from prime attractions like Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Basilica Cistern. It was just a couple of blocks from the Bosphorous. There’s a sidewalk that runs alongside it and it makes for a really wonderful walk in the evening. And last, but certainly not least, the staff was great. They were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that I had a great day. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. . There was not a thing that I did not like.

After a disappointing experience in Madrid, Royan Suites in Istanbul was a breath of fresh air. This boutique hotel delivered everything that our previous accommodation lacked—true comfort, thoughtful service, and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the staff set the tone for an exceptional stay. The room was well-appointed, modern, and, most importantly, *comfortable*, with proper climate control—something we had shockingly been denied in Madrid. One of the absolute highlights was the incredible fresh Turkish breakfast. A beautifully presented spread of locally sourced ingredients, prepared with care, and served with genuine hospitality. It was the perfect way to start the morning. Royan Suites exceeded expectations in every way. If you’re visiting Istanbul, this is exactly the kind of accommodation you hope to find—charming, welcoming, and effortlessly delivering the level of service a great hotel should. Highly recommended. Too short of stay and noisy workers next door.

Everything went very well. The hotel is located close to the old district perfect for visits within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious and the staff extremely kind and helpful.
