I absolutely love the Sidonya Hotel! I’ve stayed here a couple of times, and it’ll always be my go-to for staying in Istanbul. It’s in a perfect location, the staff is so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is out of this world. 10/10!

Location Towels were not sealed/packaged, which would give more confidence about cleanliness. No disposable toothbrush was provided. Some breakfast items were cold and seemed like they were from the previous day, not very fresh.

Very rude staff. Did not even allow us to complete taking family pics asking for return keys. While we were checking out early. And they kept repairing the hotel and was very noisy through the day. Also curtains and beds were not good. Its a basic bed and breakfast place. Disappointing

Lovely hotel in a quiet area, not far from the hustle and bustle of Kadikoy/Moda. Really convenient for the ferries/buses/metro. Room had great views and was comfortable with a lovely spacious ensuite. Breakfast buffet was excellent with stunning views of the city from the restaurant. There was a kettle in the room but no cups or coffee/tea. A minor complaint

It was safe, clean, with friendly staff, had a great breakfast and a bar. There was storage in the room and the shower had good water pressure. The night clerk helped us order food to be delivered and answered several of our questions. It was very helpful that he spoke English, since my Turkish was sadly lacking. There was a blinking light on the air conditioner.

Location.. access to top places in Istanbul via ferry- which is great. Very pleasant. Very polite and helpful staff Fantastic view from the restaurant and also our room.. The breakfast was very rich. However many choices were remnants of past days. Still you can make careful choices and have a great breakfast. The hotel needs a thorough renovation. Rusted bathroom needs be changed. The room is good but it has only one power outlet. You need to pull off some room appliances to make way for plugging your stuff. And these power outlets are in awkward places.
