Location is great. Close to all the main sights, but on a quiet street. Breakfast was great and the staff is very nice and helpful

Had a wonderful experience here: Location is less than a min from gulhane tram station so right in middle of everything. Rooms sound proofing was excellent- we didnt hear any noise throughout 7 days stay. Staff are respectful and most soeak fluent english which made communication easier. They offered daily complimentary water as much as needed and beeakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks

The location was amazing next to the cultural sites of Istanbul. It can get very crowded though especially during public holidays. It happened we were there on May 29 - a special celebration day. Give at least 30 minutes extra if using the car. Property was clean and very well groomed.

Location is excellent, only 5 min walk to Topkapi Palace and also the world class Archeological Museum via the lovely Gulhane Park. If you want to explore all the great sites such as Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, blue Mosque, museum of Turkish & Islamic art, etc, stay here. Also Sirkeci Gari and tram stations are minutes away. It is a boutique hotel with traditional Turkish decor. Staff is very friendly and professional. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel offers free walking tour and a free Turkish cooking lesson with chef that was really very nice. Our room has no view, we see just walls because it is on the lower floor. I Recommend to book a room on higher floors ..then you can see the park beyond walls.

Location cannot be beat . Walkable distance to all the sights in the old city . Really , 5-10 minutes We returned to the blue mosque square at night, when it is lit up , and so many dining options just steps away The staff go out of the way and are extremely helpful All good

Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet street with no cars but the tram stop was right up the street. Close to the mosques and the cistern and the staff was so friendly and helpful with great restaurant recommendations and reservations. The afternoon tea was a nice touch. They provided drinking water and the pool and Turkish sauna was beautiful at the end of the days sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and varied enough from day to day to keep it interesting. The honeycomb was delicious. The vendors on the street were even very friendly and not as aggressive as some places. We liked everything.

The location was excellent, walking distance everywhere. Breakfast was very decent, some items changed daily. The staff was extremely helpful, the airlines lost our luggage and the reception was following up several times a day. When checking out, I left some items in the room. The staff contacted me and arranged for delivery, very professional customer service.

The location is brilliant and the staff are genuinely one of the nicest I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The breakfast was delicious and well-presented. Easily one of the best middle range hotels I've stayed at. The hotel was great and we would definitely stay there again when back in town. The following comments should not deter you from staying there. Just a couple of minor things that would help set expectations in advance, and perhaps benefit the owners when they plan their next renovations. As most of central Istanbul, the building is obviously quite old and it shows in a few minor details here and there, especially the bathroom tiles and fixtures. Some might say it actually adds to the charm of the place. Some might disagree. Although the bed was very comfortable, the couch-turned-bed in our triple room wasn't as comfortable for our 6-year-old or my wife when she tried it. The building has central heating and conditioning, so there is no way to individually control the room temperature. It was rainy and dreary outside, so the heating was on. It got so warm in the room that we had to crack the window open to cool it down a bit. Worked most of the time, but there were moments when we wished we could turn off the heating entirely. The thermostat gives you a fan option, which emits less heat, but still warm air nonetheless. The nice man at the reception was apologetic, but, understandably, had little to add.

The friendliness of the staff stands out as perhaps the hotel's greatest strength. Nothing was a problem.

Hospitality from everyone at the hotel, they took such good care of us since arrival. The hotel’s free cooking class in the kitchen was awesome and made us felt like part of the family getting to know its regional foods. And the being local tour was so informative visiting mosques of cultural significance , local markets, and tasting freshly made simit and ice cream from shops where locals would go. Breakfast had enough rotations of meze, böreği and sausage based dishes to keep things interesting for our 5-night stay with good cheeses, deli meats, olives, fresh breads and assorted jams and even honeycomb spreads. Hotel was spotless from hotel room to common areas, and centrally located within 10 mins walk to Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and T1 tram is a few steps from the hotel while we are not directly on a busy street. View from hotel room was gorgeous overlooking the Gülhane park. Nothing

Pretty much everything. It exceeded our expectations so much I'm still thinking about it, three days after we departed.
-
Beautiful and comfortable room, great shower, breakfast on point and the staff is Amazing! Okay was such a highlight to our first Istanbul visit and we learned so much! Definitely a great place and the location couldn’t be better, close to all places of interest but yet on a street somewhat secluded so no car traffic through, so excellent mix! The fact that the hammam closed at 10pm which made it impossible for us to use it as we were on the go trying g to visit as much as we could.

Great hospitality at great location Non
-
Hamam and the view of the garden
-
Room was a little small and stuffy. They have bigger rooms but prices are high in Istanbul so chose smaller one.
-
The smoky atmosphere made it difficult to sleep and I woke up with a sore throat every day

This well-managed property is located within walking distance to nearly everything you will want to see and do in Istanbul. The rooms are elegantly designed, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet features delicious Turkish and European options that change daily, so there is always something new to discover. But the real heart of this hotel is the staff—from the warm welcome (traditional Turkish tea and a thorough orientation to Istanbul) to the many fascinating walks and activities they organise for guests—these lovely people are among the best in the business. I travel to Istanbul at least once a year, and Sirkeci Mansion is the only place I will stay—each trip feels like visiting family. Nothing.

The staff were exceptionally nice and more than willing to help with any needs! 12/10 recommend, the most kindest staff

The location. Mid-way between Sultanhamen (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, etc.) and the Galata Bridge. Breakfast. Quite subpar.

Perfect location at the center of the historical area few meters from the tram. Literally once you step out from the hotel you are immediately at the heart of historical Istanbul. The hotel is beautiful and of a historical design . The room we rent was spacious - way more than our expectation for a family of four. The receptionist was so nice to check us in - early as our cruise arrived early morning. Nothing
