Tashkonak Hotel

Nothing. The hotel is in need of significant updates and repairs. The overall cleanliness of the property was below expectations, and the breakfast quality was poor. The rooftop area, in particular, was unpleasant due to bird droppings and strong odors. This facility would greatly benefit from renovation and improved maintenance standards. I was also surprised to see this property ranked highly on Booking.com, which raises concerns about the reliability of future bookings through the platform.

The breakfast and staff where outstanding!

We can just sleep without thinking about anything. I am very disappointed with the service at this hotel. Almost all of the staff members seemed unprofessional and did not know how to properly assist guests. First of all, I booked an airport transfer through the hotel, but upon arrival at the airport, I had to wait for more than one hour because of poor arrangements. Honestly, it would have been much easier and faster to simply take an Uber from the airport. Secondly, when arranging the return airport transfer on the check-out date, I had to speak with several different staff members, and none of them seemed confident or organized. Even after confirming multiple times that we needed a large taxi for four people with luggage, I still felt uncertain whether the arrangement was correct. One staff member even shouted at me during the conversation, and when I raised my voice back in frustration, he asked me why I was shouting at him. This was extremely unprofessional. Unfortunately, my concerns turned out to be valid. On the check-out day, a small taxi arrived that was clearly too small for four passengers and all our suitcases, despite my repeated confirmations with the hotel staff beforehand. What shocked me most was that the staff member did not know how to handle the situation and even asked us what he should do. I did not expect such a response from hotel staff. Lastly, the staff were not willing to help carry our luggage from the room, even though we were four ladies traveling with suitcases. I have stayed at many hotels before and never leaved negative reviews, but this experience was truly disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel based on the poor service and lack of professionalism.

The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast, while plentiful, was not great.

We enjoyed the hospitality. The breakfast had lots of variety. Everything was well prepared. A railing on the stairs.

got some towels one day...i think Jesus used them also. The mini-fridge in the room is semi-useless. From the bathroom came a stale smell sometimes. But at the price i payed, it really doesn't matter.

Location is excellent, ambient is typical for Turkey, staff is extra kind and helpful, you will enjoy for sure! This is our second stay in Tashkonak, and will be back!

Great location, lovely breakfast and really nice staff!

The location was excellent ,near to Arasta Bazaar,Blue Mosque,Hagia Sofiya,Topkapi place ,Basilica Cistern and the Hop on and Hop off bus services and the tram. Its all within a walking distance . Breakfast was good .Room was fine except mineral water was not given daily and there was any kettle to boil water and sort . Otherwise it is a good stay for family ,friends or even a single traveler.

It was really close the shops, restaurants, and easily walkable to the mosques/ sea side

The location is perfect — just a 5-minute walk to the main historic area. The room was clean and comfortable. Customer service exceeded all expectations! They replied to all my questions right away, both through Booking messages and later on WhatsApp. My flight was canceled, and it was very easy to communicate with the staff to rearrange my transfers both ways. I even overpaid for the transfer without realizing it, and they honestly returned the extra cash to me at checkout. Very polite and kind people at the reception. My whole stay was excellent — highly recommend! nothing to complain about

Nice location near to blue Mosque. Room was fully booked they upgraded us with a sea view room in same cost. Everyday same breakfast???

The atmosphere of this hotel is amazing! The building is 19's century structure and the interior made at same style. Aslo the Hotel has open terrace with Bosporus.

We were granted a later check-out, our luggage kept till our evening flight and the staff assisted to move the bags to the taxi. Very nice & friendly. Nothing
