The breakfast menu could’ve been a little better

Before booking i saw some review was very worse but reality is fully different, compare to price NOS Istanbul was very budget friendly hotel, very clean, room size big, toilet was clean, overall good and satisfied.

Good for the price. Lots of cheap local food options where Istanbul people eat, the area has quite chill vibe. 5 min walking distance to the ferry station to go anywhere on water. Supermarket next corner. There was smoke smell on the floor, they should be more strict about smoking in common areas

Breakfast could be better ?

It was close to the main attractions, within walking distance but you had to walk around 15 minutes uphill. The value for money. That it still had breakfast even though it wasn't great. I didn't like the room, it was an improvised room with a slider door that did not perfectly close so cold air and cigarette smell was coming through the hole. It was more like living in a closet. We had to wait for almost an hour for someone to come at reception. I didn't expect much for the price but my bare minimum is cleanliness... At least a clean place if not great facilities or room. But the bedsheets and towels were very old and did not smell like clean at all, they smelled like used towels that you leave to dry, used about one week or something then left to dry... One window had no curtains and didn't even close, it was kept closed by a chair... And it didn't fully open because of the wall, the frame was stuck in the wall... The other windows also couldn't fully open as they were hitting the bed frame so it was an actual challenge to get some fresh hair... The heating option was an AC that we had to use a lot due to the poor isolation of the place but it was making the air so dry that it was suffocating. I even woke up one night because I couldn't breath properly and had to hold the window open somehow to get some air. It was barely opening and it wasn't staying open without support. You barely get anything for breakfast so keep that in mind, this didn't bother me as much considering the price ... I also woke up due the 6 am prayers and the train that was passing by nearby. The TV was just for show, it didn't work. I didn't really enjoy my stay here and I couldn't wait to get back home.

Very good service. Very good conditions. Very clean. Very polite. Everything included, AC, fridge, towels, everything you need.

The place is decent and very well located. The staff is friendly and kind, especially the owner who was lovely and welcoming. Just a small downside: one of the staff members shouted at us during breakfast, asking us to move rooms due to a booking mistake on their end — which was quite unpleasant. Also, we used their laundry service, and it took two days to get our clothes back, and unfortunately, they were in worse condition than when we handed them in.

Locations good breakfast need to some improvement

- Our recent stay was highly disappointing and far from what was advertised. The room bore no resemblance to the photos or description — it was significantly worse. The heating system was non-functional, and we were provided with unsafe heating equipment that had exposed or broken cables. To make matters worse, the bathroom had no doors, compromising our privacy completely. The listing mentioned a “garden view,” but the room was located in the basement with no such view in sight. Based on these issues, we decided to cancel our stay. However, despite this, we have yet to receive a refund, and Booking.com’s customer service has not been able to assist us in resolving the matter. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing, and we urge others to be cautious.
