we were brought to another house, which is about 50 meters away and directly at the train track. The isolation is bad , the train and the rooms underneath were loud.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sur Hotel. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and the location is close to Blue Mosque, Hagia, Basilica & tram station.

A great, cosy, calm and comfortable place to stay, everything is close to the main iconic places, restaurants, train station, markets, etc, staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Very old building, don’t be attempted by photos Not clean Shower is very old and water seems weird Stairs are exhausting I don’t recommend it ❌❌❌❌

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and always helpful. It’s located right in the heart of Sultanahmet—just a short walk to all the main attractions. Perfect for a stay in Istanbul!

After leaving, we attempted to contact management regarding a partial refund, but our concerns were completely ignored. A responsible hotel should engage with customers and provide transparency, but this one failed on both fronts. I strongly advise future guests to reconsider booking here. I recently stayed at **Sur Hotel Sultanahmet**, expecting a comfortable stay based on the advertised photos. Unfortunately, the reality was disappointing. The cleanliness was below acceptable standards, and the location was tucked away in a far, less convenient street, making it harder to access key attractions. The actual condition of the hotel did not match the pictures shown online. On top of that, the reception staff was rude during check-out and refused to provide a check-out letter or any proof of our early departure, even when we specifically requested it. Additionally, when we asked for basic amenities such as tissue, they outright refused to provide it. After leaving, we attempted to contact management regarding a partial refund, but our concerns were completely ignored. A responsible hotel should engage with customers and provide transparency, but this one failed on multiple fronts. I strongly advise future guests to reconsider booking here. ---

I have been stayed in this hotel several times this time they upgrade me to annex building to deluxe room free of charge it was bigger than I booked with small kitchenette I recommend to everyone

The apartment, although on the small side, was clean and comfortable. An added bonus was two balconies either side, one overlooking a lovely sea view and the other looking at the Blue Mosque (very close). There was a private lift that would have opened straight into the room but unfortunately they had lost the keys to it apparently. No real problem as there was only a short flight of stairs from the 2nd floor lift. The location is ideal, close to the main centre (about 5-10 min walk) but a very quiet area. No local shops as such but there are little supermarkets just off the main square. They have a 24 hour reception in the next street which while we were there was operated by a delightful lady (I forgot to ask her name - sorry!). I'd highly recommend this place for your visit.

Great location, nearby places of interest. Host is very friendly and helpful. Place is comfortable. Not to say I don't like but I would like to suggest for improvement. Suggest bread toaster.

Very good location!! The staff very friendly and helpful!! Our room had an amazing view with two balconies!!! Their only problem was the cleaning...unfortunately the room wasn't clean enough and it made my stay not very comfy.

Sea view from family room windows. Close to all amenities. Free breakfast. The breakfast is almost the same every day, but it's not a big deal.

Nice staff, nice view to have with breakfast. The view from the rooms is not so visible, as there is a building / ruins across. In our economy room on the third floor we had to ask every evening to get the heating started, so it tended to be a bit chilly. But it was still comfortable

The staff is simply amazing and deserve more than 10 …Royal was very helpful and always made sure that all the needs are met very effectively same with Suna at Night she is very nice and so talented with speaking many languages also Mansour was nice and Hassan was great and always greeted us with his authentic turkish kind smile during breakfast 1- Breakfast is a set plate and can be better 2- room cleaning can be better (room cleaning is on demand and they ask you everyday if its needed but im talking about the cleaning process)
