Taxim Lounge Hotel - Special Class

Located close to Taksim, easy to reach. My room was quite big, even with some kitchen equipment. They serve own breakfast which helps a lot. Personal also tried to help with all difficulties , people on the reception were very friendly Noisy area with music till the late night, I was moved to a neighboring building and got the room which was different from the booked one (maybe not worse), that building is not as cozy as the main one. rooms furniture and equipment is very simple.

Location Staff Good

It was clean, and the location is near popular tourist attractions. We booked a 3-bedroom (with separate beds), but they told us this room is broken and has technical problems. They replaced it with a 2-bedroom with an extra portable bed, which is obviously not what we wanted. There was no compensation or empathy for this issue, and they claimed it was even a favor to us by providing two options: either cancellation or choosing a 2-bedroom. They could have simply upgraded us to a 4-bedroom to make us happy or considered the price of a 2-bedroom. Also, the staff had to talk to the manager for every decision, but the manager was not available at the time of the problem nor the next day.

This hotel is just fantastic...near public transportation and excellent food...it offers a great.breakfast buffet every morning included with your stay.. Nothing

Streets were pretty loud and music till midnight. Noise insulation was not good.

Its location near to the transportation points. The property is near to nightclubs ( singing cafe)so It’s too noisy especially at midnight.

Breakfast is okay

Not even a dislike, just maybe more of a seasonal concern (mid-January trip)- it was really cold initially in the hotel. Room, common areas, breakfast space (ESPECIALLY, considering it’s on -1 floor). But no blame. Hotel provided space heater for the room right away. Breakfast area and commons started to be heated later. Washroom did have a bit sewer-like/wetish smell in the washroom exclusively. Smell was coming and going TV system a bit outdated. Small tv for the GIANT room that often had to be reset

Location… Heating system didn’t work properly. And lift was out of order a couple of times.

The heating system was unable to keep the room warm and the room was cold.

Calm and Quiet and it was located in the center of the city with an access to lot of shopping spots and public transportation

Internet speed is not good at all. There are a lot of noises in the room until 3 am.

Great location, in Istkilal Street, you have everything you need nearby. And the Staff are super helpful: the lovely girl at the reception, Ahmet, Firat and Seçkin. The breakfast is rich and very good. The hotel is in a pubs street so the car can’t come close when they drop u. And at night if ur room facing this street u can’t sleep because of the loud noise. And they should take more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms, a lot of dirt at the corners & under bed & tables. We had 3 rooms, the bathroom of the twin room at the lobby floor smell so bad. The hotel needs a lot of care and maintenance, since it’s in a very good location and the Staff are so helpful and the price is more expensive than the other nearby hotels.
