What I like the most about this property is definitely the staff who has been extremely helpful and this deserves much more than five stars with a special mention to Alper and his brother. They spent so much time sharing with me informations about Istanbul and how is life there. This was definitely probably one of the best part of my stay in Istanbul ,having the chance to share so much with local people. ! Thanks Alper and thanks also to your brother !

There is no coat hanger in the room. it would be a good idea to hang some hangers behind the door.

Location is wonderful. We even get free upgrade in bigger room. We'll come back again. Thank you.

Very good option. The hotel was simple but very nice. The room also was simple decorated but beautiful. The staff was perfect, kind and helpful! They provided us also with a free parking space which was very helpful for us. The location was good! 10 minutes walking away from Αγιά Σοφιά and the public transportation (railway) . The room was a bit small and in our opinion the price was a bit more "spicy". But not too much.

Clean and close to historical sites

All staff members were very helpful with transfers, assisting in booking tours, and friendly. The hotel is in a wondeful location within walking distance from many historical sites and restaurants.

It was amazing! The hosts were very nice and friendly. The neighbors were nice and friendly too. The property was new, everything was updated, very clean. It was one of the best stays I had . Pablo, the cat, belongs to one of the neighbors. My kids loved him. I loved everything

We stayed at this hotel — overall it was okay, but there are some things to be aware of. The location is great: just a 5-minute walk to all the main attractions. The area is quiet, with no noisy roads nearby, and there are plenty of small grocery shops around. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Arslan — he assisted with check-in and answered all our questions. The room was clean, warm, and housekeeping was done well. On the downside, we originally booked an economy room, but it turned out to have a window facing a sort of back yard with a wall, and it smelled strange — there seemed to be chickens kept there. It wasn’t very comfortable, so we ended up paying extra to move to a better room. That was definitely a drawback. All in all, if you're looking for a budget-friendly place and just need a room to sleep in while spending your day exploring the city, it’s acceptable. But don’t expect anything fancy.

Location is very convenient, as it is near to Hagia sophia and blue mosque. Stay was great, just to add basic amenities like tooth brush and paste to the toiletries.

The Camelot Hotel is a very good choice for your stay in Istanbul if you want to be close to all the attraction sights and still have a calm place to come home to. We had the room with sea view and the view did not dissapoint! We were welcomed by Aslan, who helped us straight away when we arrived at the hotel. He also gave us a map of Istanbul and tips of the best attractions and neighbourhoods. There is a street of small bars behind the hotel which is a big plus, it was not too crowded and overall a good and safe vibe. We enjoyed our stay at The Camelot Hotel and would recommend this hotel to others.

The location was amazing - close to The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace, as well as markets and a main road with access to the tram system, and restaurants and cafes. The bed was super comfortable to me, and the view was nice from the balcony. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and really made me feel at home.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Alper and his colleagues did everything they could to ensure I enjoyed my time in Istanbul, from answering my questions, giving me suggestions, and helping me with bookings. The breakfast was amazing!

The location of the hotel was in a nice part of the old town close to the railway. There were plenty of restaurants nearby which meant we were able to eat well after arriving at the hotel at about 9pm in the evening. Unfortunately there was not much to like. I always spend a long amount of time when booking a hotel trying to get it right and don't know what went wrong on this occasion. On arriving the hotel did not seem to match up to what i had seen online. Interestingly when trying to find somewhere else to stay with Booking I got the message that you can not book in Istanbul when you are already in Istanbul. After visiting a competitor's site I found lots of great hotels straight away. It took ages for us to get a key card for the hotel room, the room was about the size of the double bed, and the breakfast area (that we did not use) was very small too. We were supposed to stay for 4 nights but swapped hotels after just one.
