The best thing about this property was its restaurant and the food made by the chef. I could only eat halal meat and they did not serve halal meat but he made sure they he customize available ingredients in a way that its halal friendly and delicious at the same time. My server I forgot his name but he said I could call him 'Rag' was extremely helpful and attentive. I am sad that I was not able to say goodbye to him on my last day. Everything made by the chef was delicious he was also very helpful and polite with me. The hotel manager George was helpful when I made a request to change my room. The room balcony was huge and full of sunlight on sunny day. It was 2 mins walk to the bus stop which can take you to old Rhodes town and also goes to the airport. Bus was way cheaper than taking a taxi and also very convenient I was able to use my bank card to pay for the ticket. I am glad I stayed at this hotel. It can get noisy on the G floor but ear plugs can help while sleeping. The toilet flush in room 103 gets blocked which was so annoying but I did not made an issues out of it as I was the one who requested to change a perfectly fine room just because I wanted a room further from the reception area. However in 105 there were no issues with the toilet.

Restaurant, chef and the staff. Room balcony on the G floor was v nice. Bus stop was nearby which goes to the airport and also old town. Beach and some grocery shops were within the walking distance. It was not a luxury experience but rather a quality experience. Staff member were very polite and helpful. The room mattress was not v comfortable I could not sleep first night but the manager George changed my room to an upgraded one which was nice and comfortable.

A modern, small hotel. Very cozy, fairly spacious room, with a private terrace. The shower needs a curtain or another solution, as the small glass partition allows water to splash everywhere—onto the floor, sink, etc. It’s very inconvenient because everything has to be wiped down afterwards.

The rooms are always clean and spacious Breakfast has a lot of choices. The Bar-restaurant has very nice menu and one of the best coffee blends I have tried. Professional staff members always there to help with a smile.

Ideal for business travelers as it is located between the airport and the city center. Excellent breakfast with variety and quality products. One of the best Bar-Restaurant in Rhodes. Great people love what they are doing.

The whole place is renovated and looks amazing. The room was modern , spacious and very clean. Extra bonus for the espresso machine with capsules! and a Tv with a big screen. Staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast with coffee very good. Totally recommend for pleasure or business trip.

We stayed for a short period of time and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is very beautiful, the breakfast was tasty, and we appreciated the discount at their restaurant for hotel guests. ? Air conditioning is available for an extra charge

George was Very welcoming, it is our second time in this Hotel. The place is great, the staff are friendly, the Service is perfect. Exceptional, the Manager of the Hotel was so warm and Polite. It felt like Home.

The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, modern design, and quiet environment — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location was also ideal, close to everything I needed.

The room was exactly as shown on the posting. the hotel was renovated/remodelled after the son took over his father’s hotel. the images you see on google map has a mix of old and how it looks today (the owners updated the site with its current look). It’s a beautiful property. the dining area for breakfast over looked the main road and was very pleasant setting. the hotel is across from some supermarkets but also near spar. the bus stop is about a 100m away going to rhodes town and also going to the airport on the other side (take the #50 or 51 at the bus stop near departures & it’s €3.30). Check in was quick and the owners were on site day or night. city taxes are separate from the payment for your stay so expect to pay that during your stay. ac is separate as well for €7 a night (much needed for the heat!) i had no regrets staying outside of rhodes town by staying in ixia. the beaches and coastline was way less busy than the beaches near the town. it was very easy to catch many buses into rhodes town and take the orange buses to the southern part of the island. there were good food around that didn’t cost as much as it would be if you ate in old town. the breakfast was rather monotonous over time (stayed for 4 nights and it was the same every morning) but it does fuel you up for the day. House keeping did a great job every day. I would recommend this hotel for a rhodes stay and being convenient enough to get around the island but also a good home base. the breakfast was the same every day. the shower design doesn’t keep the water in so it does end up on the bathroom floor but housekeeping does a great job in cleaning your room.

We had a great time in Hippocampus hotel! The staff provided us with all kinds of information we needed. As well as that, the hotel restaurant had excellent Greek food!!!

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel!!It was ideally located to both the airport and the beautiful city of Rhodes!Don't hesitate to eat at the hotel restaurant for lunch, the meals were excellent!

The people at the place were very helpful and polite, and offered to tell us about the nicest parts of the islands we should visit! Your restaurant's cuisine was also amazing! There's an extra bonus on cocktails!!!
