The porch was great!

Everything was superb from the room to the restaurant.. Highly recommended..

I would stay here again. Very nice, very friendly help.

I understand this is a historic hotel, so I wasn’t expecting anything modern or luxurious. However, the room was extremely small, and the shower had noticeable black buildup throughout, which was concerning from a cleanliness standpoint. The hotel was also very noisy, and my room door didn’t properly align with the frame, leaving a gap that made me uncomfortable from a privacy/security perspective. I appreciate the historic charm, but cleanliness and basic privacy should still be priorities.

The historic buildings was clean and pretty well kept. The price was ratio for this location was well worth it - very reasonable. Golf course was fun but, serious golfers may prefer another course but it was a good fit for (2) couples just out for (9) holes.

The staffing at the restaurant left room for improvement. It seemed to me they were understaffed and the staff that was there was inexperienced. The staff however was very pleasant and apologized for the glitches. One of our meals was completely compensated to make up for the inconvenience which was very much appreciated.

As always beautiful view from the porch

The food here is very good. The staff is very friendly easy to get teatime for golfing beautiful flowers on the property for an historic hotel is nicely maintained.

It is an old historical hotel with all the nostalgia you are looking for; if that is what you are looking for. Very clean and the staff is wonderful. It can use, in a few areas, fresh paint. Definitely would go there again. PS.. there are ghost. 😬

I loved the area, everyone is friendly, & dog friendly. There were activities on the property like golf and a night of smores by a fire. I enjoyed a drink from the bar as well. I liked there was a pool table in the game room but it was packed with kids. There was a lot of noise over my room one morning starting at 7am that made it hard to sleep. It was relaxing to sit on the porch and have my morning coffee. Maybe it’s more of a family type of place. When I travel I don’t want to deal with kids running around and I prefer adult spaces. I would go back but I would ask first about the events so I can make an informed decision.

Even though this place was very old, everything has been updated and very comfortable.

Beautiful historical resort. Everything was great, room, restaurant, bar, game room and common areas. Staff was excellent. Pool is fantastic. We chose it because it was pet friendly and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent a day at Jackson Falls and went into the cute little town for dinner and drinks. Definitely plan to go again next summer

Quaint older inn full of charm. Great location, nice amenities (restaurant, pool).

Restaurant food was just okay. Would have been nice if the swimming pool was heated. Overall nice stay.

Breakfast was terrible.

Great classic Inn feel- loved just hanging out there. Cool amenities- golf course on property- cheap (definitely a cheap course- 9 holes not in great condition- but it's fun and you are done in a little over an hour)- so easy to play every day and you just walk over to the starter go. Nice game room with pool table, pong, video games. A full gym & sauna. Really nice outdoor pool. Room was very clean- maybe a bit dated - but what do you expect from such an old building- and not super expensive place. Window A/C- but worked great. Really cool old elevator. The bar is nice- and had drinks every evening before dinner. Only downside to me was restaurant food is definitely below average- probably sysco faire. We went down the hill one night to the Wentworth- and though the vibe there is a much more sterile- restaurant was very good. btw- really enjoyed Tuesdays down the block- kind of a diner type place but everything very fresh!
