The staff was great, welcoming and helpful, especially Mariana. The place was super clean and comfortable with restaurants within walking distance and in a safe area. It was easy to get a taxi to go dancing at night and the city felt safe enough to venture out. The hotel has limited parking but we had good luck and always had a spot. We enjoyed interacting with the people of Xalapa and would return again. It would have been better to have a view, some rooms do but this was not described in the listing so we did not ask for it.

Location was fine, First floor room, noisy at times and no window in the room. Often could here cars coming and going in the parkade below. Ask for a room above the first floor.

Our stay at the Majova Inn was very pleasant. It was convenient that there were parking spaces that we could use below the hotel. Also, there was a fantastic coffee shop (Oropéndula) only a block away that I also recommend!

Small and comfortable hotel. Good value for the price. Room was very clean. Staff was responsive and friendly. Flexible checkout. Everything about the hotel was enjoyable, but I did notice that the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, predominantly featuring eggs. It would be lovely to see a more varied offering in the future. Internet connection was pretty unstable. Sometimes it worked well, but then interrupted.

there is no patio in the king room, the "patio" is a window that faces a WALL inside the hotel! the parking was very tight. there was black mold on the bathroom sink and shower grouting... the staff didn't know the roku pin for their own TV, and the wifi didn't connect until the next morning when we were checking out... they dismissed us when we asked about the wifi problems. also the server at breakfast seemed to ignore us when we would ask a simple question. all in all a very disappointing stay, especially since there were so many good reviews
