An enjoyable stay very close to the main plaza. There is a kitchen… just ask. The dorms only have 2 beds, so there is a 50/50 chance that you will get the bunk you did/didn’t want.

From the moment I arrived, they read me the rules as it was a homeless shelter.. not even a warm smile. I booked a dormes with a balcony and got a cell without any windows. The hostel run by a family and kids are in charge. The girl who checked me in had poor knowledge of hospitality. She said the room you get depends on availability. Imagine seeing a photo with plenty of soace, light etc. and you get to a tiny room. Also, it's wuite wierd to be in a dormes with only two beds with another person. On top of all that, they didn't have electricity and handled the whole situation poorly so I just left and didn't stay there. It was Thursday and the hotel was full, but they obviously lack the experience of how to manage a hotel.

Room was right on the main street. So great for air and sun light. But sometimes loud motorcycles or bug trucks would zoom by. They could be oretty loud.

Just a heads up, my taxi driver had a little difficulty finding it, mostly because neither of our phones had data.. But we did find it..an adorable little home.

Nice decor and the staff was friendly. There is a nice sitting room in the front. Dormitories only have 2 beds (1 set of bunk beds). Better if there was a kitchen, or at least a hot water kettle. I think coffee was supposed to be provided, but over my two mornings, I was never informed about how to get it.

Beautiful hostel beautiful interior big bedroom and nice private bathroom and shower. Very well located. Easily accessible too! We will definitely try to stay here next time we visit Xalapa! Really there wasn't anything I didn't like about this hostel.

The kitchen is too small, there are very few kitchen utensils, and the hygiene of the kitchen needs improvement. My room smelled musty, so much so that I had to keep the windows open day and night to ventilate it.

The bunk beds weren’t particularly comfortable but they were fine and an excellent value. I would have liked coffee available in the morning.

Nice building, private room was nice and came with a desk/chair and private bathroom. Free coffee was made in the mornings. Easy walk to downtown and also had restaurants nearby. Wi-Fi was excellent and common areas were large so I could work remotely easily. There was not a full kitchen, that was the only bummer, but there is free coffee and a shared fridge.

The location is very close to the historic center and located close to restaurants, stores and parks. The room was very nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower and nice hot water. The courtyard is beautiful and a nice spot to sit and enjoy some race and quiet. Nothing

I booked a dorm bed but I ended up in a twin room with a private bathroom with 1 other person. Amazing value for money. The WiFi was strong, shower water was hot and the place was very clean. The staff are wonderful. I left my watch behind in the room and they kept it for me and stored my luggage. They also let me use their common area after I checked out for most of the day. I can't recommend this place enough and Xalapa is also a lovely town. The hostel is very secure with a PIN code entrance, room locks and a luggage box for each bed. There is no kitchenette in the hostel.

This was my second time staying here. Although it feels more like a hotel than a hostel, it's a great place to stay. My room was very clean and comfortable with one of the best beds I've slept in in a while. The location is easy walking distance to centro and I even walked to the bus station. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Xalapa.

It seems to have changed and not for the better. They've started unlocking the back door which used to be secured at all times with a key. Now people go in and out of all hours slamming the door and sneaking escorts in late at night. They no longer enforce any noise violations, so even though the quiet hours are officially at 10:30 p.m, the noise continues at all hours. The last week I was there they had a huge group that had some kind of birthday party or gathering and the noise was absolutely insane. There was people in the hospital after quiet hours who weren't even staying there.

Good location Bare, no frills room, but ok

Staff friendly and helpful. The dorm bed was super comfortable and loved having the en suite bathroom. Good base to access the town or visit the museum. Nothing really apart from being very quiet but that was ok.
-
Big room, comfortable bed, fuzzy blanket provided, safety door Very very thin walls, no chance to block out noise from outside

Fantastic location, friendly staff, clean and quiet at night. Such a great price in a beautiful old building with lots of lounge areas. Filtered water and delicious coffee available at all times. Rooms next to staff kitchen were a little noisy during break times. No kitchen, just a microwave and fridge that was locked. No cutlery or plates.

Good located between ADO station and Zocalo. Everything is easy to reach. Taxi to the Museum of Anthropology and ADO station is 50 Pesos. Good and cheap cafes and restaurants near by. Clean, easy check-in Everything was ok, not many people was there during my stay time
