Posada del Cafeto

The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to everything. It was within walking distance of the main plaza and several great restaurants. The covered parking garage was also a nice bonus. If you plan to leave early, be sure to inform the staff in advance so they can arrange the parked vehicles accordingly.

Great location with secure parking. There’s a bar nearby, which can be noisy at night. Especially on Saturday. The street is very narrow, so be warned if you have a big automobile.

If you are looking for something serious and fancy then this is not the place for you!! This posada is beautifully kept, I really appreciate all the colours and details. It was a very authentic and laid back stay. Travelling alone I felt safe here as there is someone at front at all times and the front door is locked. My room was always clean and quiet. I am grateful for a very peaceful time here.

Beautiful gardens and attentive staff.

The location is great. It's charming. Outdoor courtyard was beautiful. A little construction noise from next door but it wasn't too bad. Pillows were lumpy.

Gorgeous, sprawling property covered in plants. Nice staff, good little restaurant, free drinking water. Our room was huge and beautiful. Good beds and good pillows.

Great location, lovely public garden spaces. 3 of 5 nights bass from a neighbourhood disco. that went on late into the night.

We stayed in room 129 and found it very pleasant, with everything working, quiet a/c with heating function, cold and hot water ( be patient) with consistent pressure. They have rooms with hard and with soft mattresses, so if you have a preference: better tell them. Wifi worked erratically during our 3 night stay ( most of the time: not), the staff cannot solve the problem: professional repair required.

The room was comfortable and staff was very kind and helpful. Very comfortable bed. And the restaurant for breakfast. Could be noisy to noisy, depending on the guests. I had no problems. People were considerate.

It is a quiet property that has beautifully maintained patios and many outdoor seats to enjoy them! They offer all the services you need: breakfast, water for refilling your bottles, laundry service, etc. There is lots of hot water and water pressure. Everyone is very polite, even other guests. Xalapa is extremely hilly and the hotel’s street is typical of that.

Parking lot in front of the hotel, my room was comfortable, clear, everything worked well, in a good location near downtown and other attractions. They have water containers to fill your drinking bottles. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special.

The options available for the breakfast were a bit limited compared to Mexican standards.

This hotel on a very quiet little side street is spotless and features a beautiful inner garden and upstairs patio for hanging out. Conveniently located. Good value. Coffee pot with free coffee in our room each morning. Separate little restaurant for breakfast downstairs. Nice hot shower, tiled bathroom with toilet is eparate from tiled shower. Internet connections on second floor where our room was were non existent. Bed was a bit hard for my taste. Street is very narrow and beware of one way streets in this hilly town if driving.

The facilities old charm style and personnel assisted us throughout our stay. Wonderful people and great sense of hospitality

Posada del Cafeto is ideally located - just a couple of blocks from the center of Xalapa, but also on a very quiet street. The courtyard was lovely, and the staff very helpful.
