The Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort

Our room had a smell in the bathroom and in the bedroom adjacent to bathroom wall area. When we complained about it the staff was very cooperative!

My first time and will definitely be going again! Wonderful!!! FIVE stars

I have traveled extensively this year everything from cruises to four and five star hotel stays across the US and the Westin Jekyll Island beat them all in two categories number one this hotel smelled so good. The first thing I did when I checked out was purchased their signature sent so I could have it in my house and number two the bed, bedding, and pillows were more comfortable than any other bed I’ve ever slept in on a vacation ever.

Great place to stay!

The facility does seem short of staff from the cleaning crew to the restaurant waitstaff. Everything is on island time so enjoy the beautiful beaches with a glass of your favorite beverage.

Amazing time had by all! The restaurant at Westin had by far the best food on the island!

For a 4-star hotel, we expected the room to be more upscale. It was definitely clean, but a bit long in the tooth. It needs some renovation. The location is fabulous.

Great place to vacation

Great service and one of my favorite things is that you can use the beach umbrellas without extra charge. Almost every where you go that’s an extra charge. You already pay a good price for your stay and that’s like reward for the visitors. Also, clean, and the area around is very nice.

Wonderful weekend at the Westin! Everything we needed was provided, the food and drinks were awesome, and the service staff were personable and courteous. Such a pleasure to stay there!

My only complaint is the rooms are hit and miss—seems they renovated the room itself but not the bathrooms, and you can tell from peeling wallpaper, rusted faucets, etc. If you don’t mind some imperfections and are seeking convenience, a comfy bed and great staff, you’ll have a wonderful stay!

Peggy at the front desk was especially helpful and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Willet’s Lowcountry was also a wonderful dining experience. Our room was beautifully appointed, and while we had been told there were no ocean-view rooms available, we were pleasantly surprised to discover we had a lovely ocean view after all. The pool area is very nice, and the hotel’s proximity to the nearby village makes it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. I also want to recognize the gentleman managing the beach chair setup. I didn’t catch his name, but he worked incredibly hard. Having beach chairs already set up for guests, along with food and beverage service directly on the beach, really elevated the resort experience. For a Four Diamond property, there were a couple of small details that could be improved. We noticed a few areas of dead grass and landscaping on the beach side of the property, and it would be a nice touch if the valet team greeted all arriving guests, even those walking in rather than driving up. Those minor observations aside, this is an outstanding property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very clean, good location right on beach, attractive interior, I liked the excercise room plenty of machines The only thing I wish they had breakfast with stay like many of the other hotels here just much more convenient

The pool is very nice, staff across the whole property very attentive. We enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella included as well. So many amenities! We didnt eat on site, its not our cup of tea, but the food looked good and has great reviews. Overall a wonderful time and we will be sure to come back.

The location was excellent.

The service was impeccable and the location was outstanding. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The resort fee is actually WORTH it unlike other hotels!
