The location right on Jimbaran beach is lovely and you can walk to nice restaurants in the evening. The room was comfy, the staff were mostly nice and the toiletries were nice. Apparently they sell day passes to the pool so it was incredibly busy and impossible to get a bed after 11am, there were lots of loud families with kids round the main pool which made it hard to relax. The club area was much quieter but they wouldn’t let us use it, and were unhelpful at the front desk. There are no sun loungers on the beach, only a cabana you have to pay a lot extra for. Generally it felt like they were trying to extract extra money out of everyone for everything, doesn’t feel like a 5 star experience. The sunset bar needed to be booked in advance and the music was pretty poor. Wish we’d stayed at the Belmond down the way.

Everything! This was our first stay at the InterContinental, and it certainly won't be our last as we're already planning to return next year. The staff were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. A special mention to Yudi and Dewi, who went above and beyond to recognise a birthday in our group even though we had not mentioned it when making the reservation. We booked Club access and, for us, it was definitely worth the additional cost. We spent most of our time relaxing between the Club pool, the beach, and the Club lounge. Having access to food, drinks, and a quieter space to unwind made for a very relaxing holiday experience. While we would have loved to stay longer, we were actually fortunate that our departure coincided with the start of a large wedding event. We were advised that pool and lounge areas would be unavailable to guests outside the wedding party during the event, so our timing worked out well. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The beautiful grounds, excellent facilities, and exceptional service made this one of the highlights of our trip. We can't wait to return.

Beautiful hotel, grounds and gardens very impressive. Huge property with lovely big pool. We requested a room on the 3rd floor and this was granted. Restaurants were great. We ate at Bella Cucina and Garden Restaurant a couple of times and the food was excellent. Breakfast options were huge and food quality was very good. All staff were very helpful and friendly. We went for my birthday with family and friends. Had 3 birthday cakes provided by the hotel during our stay. The staff at breakfast came and sang Happy Birthday which was a lovely touch. Also close to airport. We used the hotel cars for transport to and from airport and they were fine. Staff did their best to keep the beach clean each day. Join up to IHG membership and you get 20% off food, Overall a wonderful stay. My daughter was initially allocated a room on the 1st floor (ground level) and it was very mouldy, smelly and damp. They immediately asked for a change and were offered another room on the 3rd floor which didn't have the same problem.

The breakfast buffet was truly exquisite. The food tasted excellent and the presentation was impressive. Everything was very well organized and maintained with high hygiene standards. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great start to the day. Nothing in particular. The overall experience was very pleasant and well managed. That said, like any great place, there is always some room for small improvements to make the experience even better.

Staff was the only good thing that happened. Everybody is very nice and kind. Hotel premises and rooms needed renovation long time ago. Materials are heavily overused, it does not correspond to the general bali style.
