The villa was beautiful and the staff was super helpful! They had all the amenities in the villa, including crockery, a fridge and a microwave! Endless coffees were made! The villa itself was spacious and the scenery around was beautiful. We could see the GWK statue from the balcony. Lots of small stores nearby to buy groceries from. There is also a mall nearby, with plenty of eateries. We also found an Indian restaurant around 700m from the villa. This was quite important for us since we are vegetarians!

It felt homey. I like that it was like a mini home. There is a kitchen attached to the room if you want to cook. The bathroom was modern & tiled floors.

The staff was very kind and they always helped us with everything. There was missing some equipment in the kitchen but staff bring it all later.

The pictures must have been taken from another hotel or another decade One of the most stressful hotel experiences we’ve ever had – avoid at all costs We originally booked a room with a kitchen, shown in nice photos, mainly to be able to cook during Nyepi Day. But when we arrived, the room was nothing like the pictures. It was much older, especially the bathroom, with worn materials and a generally tired look. Still, we didn’t complain at first — until we noticed that everything was missing: no utensils, no kitchen tools, no towels… We had to ask for absolutely everything, item by item. Staff always said “no problem” and delivered things eventually, but it was exhausting to chase down basics you expect to already be there. After the first night, things got worse. There was a very bad smell in the room (likely from the AC), and the fridge made loud gunshot-like noises all night — waking us up multiple times. I calmly tried to explain all this to the manager, but he refused to listen. He cut me off, saying, “No problem, I’ll upgrade you” — without hearing what the actual problems were. I even tried to insist, especially to flag the fridge issue, but he said, “No no, I don’t need to know.” We were moved — not to a better room in the same hotel, but to an entirely different hotel (seemingly owned by the same group). The new hotel was nice, but it didn’t have a kitchen — which had been the entire point of our original booking. When I explained this, the manager told me not to worry, that we were welcome to use the hotel’s kitchen. So, the next day at noon, we went to use the kitchen — and it was absolutely disgusting. So filthy that even one of the staff looked shocked by my reaction. He called others, who quickly came, apologized, and started cleaning. After they left, we had to re-clean everything ourselves, but at least they had made an effort. We cooked lunch, cleaned the kitchen thoroughly, and went back to our room. That evening, at 8 PM, we went back to the kitchen — and it was somehow even more disgusting than before.

The room is really confortable and clean and also provide us with good service.

It's a nice hotel (especially in Jimbaran) as it was a last minute reservation due to another property being horrible. Even though overall it's an okay place to spend a day or two, the room felt outdated with older furniture and cracks in the walls.

Nice and quiet place to relax, clean swimming pool, friendly staff. Good location, a lot of warungs near by, 2 minutes by walk to Gourmet market. I was staying here for 10 nights, first 3 days nobody cleaning room and of course not take rubbish out, if you have gojek food then you can imagine how it looks like :) and same beauty was with last 3 days, nobody cleaning room again. 3 of 10 days I don't have internet in my little house, sometimes no electricity and no water, but here in Bali it's normal. And one more thing, strong smell of something bed in bathroom

I booked this room specially to have bright place, and had to spend one night in the little house, which was extra dark. :( It was okay, just not sure what exactly makes it a resort :)

Dear Sir/Madam, Referring to the confirmation number of 4964014836, hotel KUBU GWK Resort booking on 31 Dec 2024, I’m really feel disappointed and upset on the hotels arrangements. The booking photos uploaded from the website are totally discrete from the room scene. Besides on that, numbers of complaints that I would like to lodge as below which I cant accept: 1) No water supply from the wash room and certain times need to wait 15min. No hot water even. The most surprised me was we waited for more than 30min but still no water on the next morning prior check-out 2) Wash room tiles appearance not decent and found very dusty 3) 2 single beds are combined into 1 double bed (which I requested for a double bed during the room booking) 4) Some stains were found on the bed sheets and eventually we feel itchy and our bodies showed rashes 5) Mold found on the floor 6) Water stains found along the ceiling and even some colors were faded 7) The color of the lights not decent 8) The noise insulation system very bad and poor. We can hear the noises from the adjacent room and on top 9) hair dryer not function well 10) I requested for room exchange/upgrade but not available I’m attaching the link below for photos and video for the evidence. Honestly, I feel that being cheated and the booking totally deceived of being rated 4 star hotel instead.
