The white bed sheet and pillow covers have become yellowish despite being cleaned. The air conditioner filter needs to be changed; when the temperature rises, a foul smell emits, which is very unpleasant.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. You have access to balcony with a view of the mountains. Mind you the next room guests share the same balcony. It is partitioned by plants. Be advised to step out clothed. Maybe the price for a stay for a night on a workweek could be lower, apart from that the location for me seems perfect; the right kind of distance from the Jiufen old street. Also the old street is filled with shops, which does not interest me as much. Maybe if they had like a nice night market with delicious and fairly priced food then I would rate Jiufen higher.

Property is clean and it’s at the end of the old street away from the crowd. There are steps walking up to the apartment not recommended for elderly. Food is simple.

Quiet, great location, clean. Excellent breakfast. It was fabulous. (People not good on feet would struggle with all the stairs to get to hotel)

Very big, clean room. Very near Jiufen Old Street. Good views. Accom's owner very nice and friendly. Very good breakfast too! Location was only slightly hard to find, got to walk up some stairs to get to the accommodations.

Fabulous location, a couple of minutes walk from the old street. We stayed 2 nights and lioved it. Very clean and comfortable, substantial breakfast included, comfy bed and a good sized room with a deck and a view! Owner couldn't speak English and we can't speak mandarin but Google translate is brilliant. Would thoroughly recommend this b&b. Get a taxi up from the bottom though, lots of stairs.... Loved it all

Good location The family room had light coloured pole curtains. A very bright street light shone directly through the windows. Light leaked on all sides of the curtain and made it near impossible to fall asleep. The host was friendly initially but frosty after my complaint about the curtains and the street light. Breakfast was monotonous and a minimum effort affair.

Beautiful room, nice location on the edge of town, lady cooked us an excellent breakfast the next day Lucky House B&B didn't seem to show up on google maps in English so a bit difficult to find, but lady had sent us maps in advance which were helpful

The breakfast is super well prepared, homemade style, but I really appreciated it. Furniture is super clean and neat. It is hard to locate the place. No English-Speaking.

Overall, the place is clean and looks new. If you are travelling with van, you might having problem to access to this place and thing getting worst if it is raining and you need to carry your big luggage and walked for almost 10 mins with up and down slope.... As well, you will need to pay additional TWD$400 for the short trip of carrying the luggage to the van and no transport or helps from the owner... No credit card is accepted or only cash payment is allowed.

it’s clean and new! very close to jioufen old street! overall, a vey nice place!

Great location of the far end of the Old Street and set slightly back from the road for extra peace. No major staircases to climb to access, but can be slippery in the rain. Residential feel but still part of the main street. Breakfast (served in separate building around the corner) was simple but enough to get my day started before hiking the nearby mountain trails. A room photos are accurate. Room was clean and host thought of little details, like bug spray. Perfect retreat spot, I would stay again.
