The staff are friendly. I and a group of friends stayed there for almost 10 days . The facility is very dated and poorly maintained. Our first room’s air condition was so loud that you won’t be able to carry any conversation. The window could not close probably. The TV did not work and the bathroom was in bad shape. They were able to change to another room per our request. The air condition was quieter and TV worked, even though the bathroom was in an ok shape, it was livable. However the housekeeping service was a total nightmare. They won’t clean your room daily. We were trying to get our room clean as the housekeepers never shown for few days. We used Google translator to communicate but no-one seems to care. At one point we have to make have to made multiple trip to the front desk to beg them to send someone to our room. I am not the only one who had the bad experience, my travel companion experiences were as bad as mine.

I stayed at the hotel for almost a week. The room was cleaned ONCE in that time. That only time, the cleaning staff used bleach to clean the bathroom and splashed my favourite dress ruining it. When I requested management to replace/reimburse me for the loss, I had to negotiate for two days and they ended up giving me a fraction of the price for a dress bought in Canada for $120. They paid me $55 CAD approx. Towels were disgustingly stained from years of use, even the supposedly clean ones. Air conditioning was rattling nonstop. The electronic keys functioned once. You had to take them to be reprogrammed every time you needed to open the door, no matter if you were extremely careful at not placing them next to other credit cards or your phone. It was a constant hassle.

Location is great, staff is friendly and very helpful. Pillows are nice and comfortable. Staff does an excellent job with different languages and cleanliness. I was able to speak Spanish and English with them. Room service does a great job cleaning. The buffet fruit is fresh and exceptional. Eggs are scrambled runny and lots of baked goods. Convenient to have a restaurant downstairs. Pool area is nice. Rooftop deck was my favorite with lots of different seating g options. Bc of its location it’s VERY LOUD all the time, into late hours of the night. If you need quiet to sleep - do not book here! Or bring noise cancelling ear plugs! The facility is in bad shape. Bad WiFi signal or sometimes none. Sometimes no hot water. Poor quality sheets, blankets and towels. The AC is frigid and hard to turn down and very loud. We had to turn it off to not freeze, but the you can hear the street noise and neighbors clearly. Bed comes with two thin sheets. I needed to ask for multiple blankets and they were all stained either brown or bleach stains. Sometimes see through from being old. Same with the towels. After multiple complaints I was able to get heavier blankets (with bleach stains) and fluffy towels, but we could not get an updated room as they were overbooked. The coffee is ok, better elsewhere. I think it’s overpriced for the quality.

I didn't stay there, the accommodations smelled like morpho. The accommodations smelled musty. I canceled my stay shortly after check-in and have not yet received a refund.

The location was perfect, and it met our needs. There were good restaurants in the immediate area. One could go in any direction to find a good restaurant. It was a good choice! The sidewalks in João Pessoa were difficult to tread on, they were too uneven. One had to be extra careful when walking, especially if one had any disability. Also, too many people out at night. It was a bit difficult to promenade.

No blankets, room cold at night. No iron. No hot water.
