The room we originally booked was way smaller than it seemed in photos, all bed sheets and pillowcases were stained, towels also stained and VERY worn out (some had holes in it). We contacted front desk about it and they were very helpful, upgrading us to a much better double room in better state. Towels still wonrn out and scratchy though. We noticed a lot of cracks on the ceiling around the light fixtures. Also, the wait time for the elevators was always very long and you have to pay a daily fee of BRL 20.00 for parking (they will park and bring your car to you anytime you need, so not a bad thing.)

Having a Portuguese speaking girlfriend helps being that I only speak English. None of the front desk staff I encountered could speak English. Not a deal breaker but something I found frustrating at times.

One of the elevators stopped working during our stay with huge lines and waiting time. Ridiculously expensive food by the pool. 30 Brazilian reais for 6 deep fried shrimps is a rip off. One of the air conditioning units in our bedroom was making noise and had a strange odor.

The location, the breakfast, and the size of the room. The hotel has only two elevators that are too few to attend to the guests. Usually, we wait a long time to get in the elevator. Inside the room, we listening to the movement outside, like children screaming and loud music. Also, one of the facilities in this hotel is the cable TV in the rooms. When we asked how to connect the cable TV, the staff said that they are fixing this service. This did not convince me (3 days to fixing a cable TV?). If they do not offer, the guest must know before reservation.
