Gold Reef City Theme Park Hotel

I think the butler's overworked and he is understaffed this area needs to improve because the butler behaved exhausted and frustrated He could not process without comment any shortfalls the customers experienced. I believe this is due to the hotel being understaffed for Butler and shuttle but mainly the butler is overworked throughout our stay there was only one butler handling every other customer please look in to this I think this butler was just frustrated because he is on his own doing such a lot. I didn't like that the butler was frustrated and when we experienced the shortcoming that we did it was way too much for him to tolerate so in spite of this offending us it made us feel guilty for making a mistake in mislaying our phone and a confusion with luggage pickup. These were all issues on our part but the frustration the butler had over our situation really put a damper on our stay

Location inside theme park complicated drop-off and pickup by Uber.

Unfortunately the park was closed one of the days we were there, but not at all the park's fault. We had a miscommunication via our booking that all days will be open.

A lot of out of order rides at theme park.

Family room was spacious. Breakfast had a lovely variety We had an early check out and the breakfast packs they offer was an excellent suggestion which we took up.

Room was comfortable, exceeded my expectations, staff friendly and attentive, goes out of their way to make u comfortable. The outing was for my husband’s bithday, when they realised that they will be fully booked for the weekend, they moved my family to Gold reef city hotel to a suite. My children enjoyed the theme Park for 2 days❤️ Nothing

There was a bad smell The front desk appearance is old

Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Great shower and toilet. Park nearby was cool. The room was too cold, even though AC was turned on in heater mode - not enough to heat the room. Internet (Wi-Fi) wasn't good. The available restaurants options around the room and at the park wasn't so good.

Location, service and dining were excellent. Isolated which is good but also tricky to catch up with local friends.

The breakfast was amazing. Staff where quite friendly. Rooms were very clean and absolutely beautiful. The theme of a mini town was so delightful. The Suttle service was a great help to and from the casino. They gave us a complimentary birthday cake for my husbands birthday which was absolutely delicious and very thoughtful. The park should open an hour later or close an hour later for the guests or some priority should be given to guest for the rides.
