Very spacious, clean, good location, easy check in and out. Could use more clothes hangers and space to hang clothes/towels

Great place to stay, spacious for a family of five, very clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Check-in and check-out was straight forward even though it was online.

We stayed in the Superior Suite and the room was to an incredibly high standard and spotlessly clean. The location was very handy - very close to Tenmokan, about 10m to the Sakurajima Ferry, and a pleasant 30m walk from Kagoshima-Chuo.

The location was excellent. Conveniently located near restaurants, shops, train station and the ferry port to Sakurajima Island. Everything was excellent, and I have no complaints about this property.

Spent 2 nights here before travelling to Yakushima. Chose the location because of the proximity to the ferry which was very useful. Location is actually really convenient for taking the tram to get around the city and is next to Tenmonkan shopping area. Really nice restaurant nearby. Check-in process was a bit quirky - had to talk to a contact centre when we arrived but it worked outy just fine. Nothing. Really liked this place - would recommend, especially if you are taking a ferry or arriving on one

The room is spacious and chic, the beds were very comfortable. It was clean. The hotel is close to the port to go to Sakurajima. I recommand! The room is not so bright but we didn’t care because we were outside visiting!

Some things that can be improved upon : 1) The check in was horrendous. There was a keypad to input passcode to get into the main lobby and no such details of the passcode was given to us. There was another group of guests who were stuck outside for over 30mins. We finally managed to contact the help desk (via helpful passer bys with their local line ... since we only had data plans for our mobile phones). The helpdesk agent then gave us the passcode to access the main lobby. After this, we had to then self register each and every guest on a wall mounted ipad whilst followed by a face to face call with the agent who then gave us our room number and pass code to enter our room. The passcode to access the main lobby should have been sent over to us via email or the confirmation message from the application 2) There was no lift to the 2nd floor and we had to drag our heavy luggage up the 2 flight of stairs 3) Wish there were more windows to the room

Good location, great value, facilities were adequate. No elevator though, small room but enough for one night. No elevator, no parking.

Smooth check-in Room smelled like mold. Our room was on the ground floor, one large window was covered by a storm shutter, another small window opened to the main street with people passing by, so unopenable for privacy. The room was dark, damp, and felt permanently dirty.

Tablet check in camera didn’t work. Ended up taking 30 minutes and a phone call — thankfully I speak Japanese

Close to the port, good location. We had everything for a short stay to catch the ferry very early. Bonus point for easy check in and out.

Great location, 5 minutes away from Tenmonkan. The room was spacious, well furnished and comfortable. The 5 beds were firm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare dishes for our children. The refrigerator is large so you can stock up on drinks and snacks. There are many USB ports to charge your electronic devices too. Checking in is a little tedious, you have to enter passport information for everyone who is staying, but that can be done ahead of time online through their website. Still, you will not be able to check in a minute earlier than 3 PM. After that it's smooth sailing though,

Kitchenette was nice to have with young kids. The drying room in the shower was awesome. Our room was very clean. The room was narrow, not a lot of room to move around in the room and it was difficult getting in and out of the room as a group with a stroller
