Golden Sun Resort & Spa - Adults Only

Every staff member was so welcoming and friendly - always checking how we were and they couldn't do enough for us. They really made the place extra special. Good choice for breakfast and lovely fresh juice. I'm gluten-intolerant and they were able to provide a really nice GF bread. The room was lovely and having our private pool was wonderful, but the communal pool was also beautiful if you wanted a change of scenery. All areas were always sparkling clean. The hotel was close to the beach and a very short walk to the restaurants. We hired a car and enjoyed exploring as there wouldn't be enough for us to be only in Kalamaki for a week. Not a complaint but it's just good to know that the evening menu is the same as the day menu, which you can have poolside or in their restaurant. It seems that most guests eat outside of the hotel in the evenings. There's also a heated indoor pool but neither the water or the area itself was warm enough to relax in for long. Also good to know to wear underwear / swimwear that you don't mind getting ruined if going for a massage, as the oil stained both our swimwear. Can't be helped due to the location but planes continually fly over and VERY close and low. We found this more funny than annoying and you grow used to them in a way.

We loved the private pool with the comfortable sunbeds, the bed was comfortable and big, room was very clean, they allowed us early check in and they have prepared a honeymoo present for us. Staff was very accomodating and friendly and gave suggestion about which areas/restaurants worth visiting. There is also a thermal pool and spa treatments and they were very good. Althouth the restaurant was nice and tidy, the breakfast menu is repeated on a daily basis and is small. The runway of the airport is nearby and there is noise from the planes however we were not bothered too much about it.

The atmosphere was very chilled and quiet, just the place for a short break. Apart from being under the Airport flight path, which the Hotel can’t do anything about. The property was excellent and value for money.

Everything was really clean, looked amazing and a peaceful location. Breakfast was every day really good! Staff friendly and helpful. Nothing.

I like it is wide and you can't feel the corwd anywhere. The breakfast was not that much good. It could be way much better.

Excellent facilities. Close to the beach, just 50m. Pool villa is beautiful and provides privacy. Breakfast was rich with many choices. Staff is extremely polite and helpful

Having a private pool was an amazing experience Aeroplanes were really low flying overhead so not ideal for location

The place is great, clean and well maintained. It is very close to a nice, beautiful beach. Staff is friendly and kind. Breakfast is delicious. Nothing at all. There could be some more wardrobe space, but that does not change my feeling for the place.

Ideal location, very quite and very clean! The staff were absolutely great and friendly and did there best to comfort you in a professional manner! I can only recommend the Goldensun Resort for a comfortable and relaxing getaway! Could provide Shuttle from and to the airport.

Modern, clean, nice design, well maintained. staff at the bar was superb - especially Kelly, thanks for great recommendations on what to explore on the island! The reception staff treated us very well when we arrived, however as we were leaving, they stopped caring and were even rude. We requested a later check out (1h) but were declined, supposedly because of being fully booked, however it was available for staggering 100e (so were they fully booked?). No flexibility or willingness to help, we felt as though they wanted us to just pay and leave as soon as possible. No personal touch, or even asking about our transport, etc… This last impression of the hotel tanked our experience and the whole stay. Especially considering the high price.
