Hotel Kastraki

Location was very good, nice staff and very good breakfast Shower was not very comfortable

The hotel is in a great location near Meteora, right by the roadside, with convenient parking spaces since it is in a village. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and communicative. The air conditioning worked well. However, the bathroom was a bit small and outdated, and while the room style was old, it was spacious enough for three people. We would have liked to have mosquito nets so we could enjoy the fresh village air, but that was impossible; as soon as we opened the balcony doors, insects and mosquitoes got in. The breakfast was very poor and disappointing, as they seemed to be cutting corners significantly. Breakfast hours are from 7:30 to 9:30 AM, but when we went down at 9:00 AM, almost everything was empty. I asked the staff for some white cheese; they brought out a large platter full of it, but only served three or four pieces at our table and took the rest back, even though many other guests were still arriving to eat. While there appeared to be a variety of items, most were completely unsuitable for breakfast (such as pickled cucumbers, carrots, and Greek salad).

This hotel was a very nice surprise, the location was perfect, the rooms were beautiful, the staff was very kind. If you are in this area you will not be disappointed by staying here

The view. Very close to the monasteries and close to good restaurants. The taps and faucets arent functioning well. You get splashed with water. If you get a room with the view, you get also the very hot sunrise that gets the room very very hot throught the day(we were there in mid june and was hot hot hot).

The location is absolutely perfect. Kastraki is the best place to stay when visiting Meteora (definitely over Kalabaka) and this hotel is on the edge of the village closest to the monasteries.

Spacious, clean, great location handy to everything. Old style solid feeling with wonderful reception staff. Great recommendations and so helpful. Especially enjoyed my taxi tour from panos of the monasteries. Incredible experience. I highly recommend Everything was great

Location was amazing with incredible views. Staff were excellent. Front reception lady gave amazing suggestions. Thank you for the cave and waterfall tips!! There are very good restaurants walking distance. Breakfast has plenty variety. The shower is challenging as the bathtub is half size. Part of the European experience.

Great location Showers without curtains, breakfast not so great.

Location was in the entranceway to most of the rock formations and monastery sites and tour routes. Many drink and café businesses as well. The hotel room was spacious, king bed, bath was a little tight but nice and functional. Breakfast was great and staff friendly and informative. Would highly recommend... If you're a large person t he bathroom would be uncomfortable but maybe it was just this room...
