The beach. When I reported to reception that an expensive item had gone missing from our room, staff refused to document my complaint, refused to contact a manager despite repeated requests, and ended a phone call by hanging up on me mid-sentence. I was told nothing would be done unless I went to the police myself, which I did, without any help from the hotel. The theft is on record with the Hellenic Police (case 1052/3/622). At the desk, I was offered no apology, empathy, or assistance. In later written correspondence, the hotel said no evidence had been found, that GDPR prevented them from sharing employee information, and that no CCTV covers the guest-room corridors. They asserted that "this kind of incident does not happen" here even though I was reporting precisely such an incident. They never acknowledged how poorly my complaint had been handled. To be clear, I am not accusing any individual of taking my property. My review is about the response. A professional hotel documents the complaint, involves management immediately, helps the guest contact the authorities, and treats the guest with courtesy. None of that happened. I cannot recommend this hotel. Whatever the fate of the missing item, the lack of professionalism and basic customer service after I reported it was among the worst I've experienced anywhere. If something goes wrong during your stay, be aware you may be left to handle it entirely on your own.

Loved the location and friendliness of the staff. The prices at the bar and restaurants were above those of neighboring places.

The setting by the beach, the beautiful gardens and pools.Great breakfast My friend had mobility issues- there are no elevators and lots of stairs so difficult for her

Excellent location, stayed in the Caldera in a fancy suite then left the busy mountain for a slower more comfortable pace. Wish i would have booked this place the entire stay. Thank Patricia for helping us. From the John thr English man with his sick wife and little boy. Nothing

Quality of breakfast not sufficient for 4 Star hotel Limited availability of sun chairs

Perfect view and very nice people. The only thing that could make it better is a canopy for the sun other balcony. But beautiful place and very relaxing.

The location on Kamari Beach was excellent. I also liked that the bus schedule for Kamari to Fira was posted in the lobby. I didn’t use the pools on site as I spent most of the time in the beach beds at the beach. Would stay again! The A/C in my room wasn’t super strong and made a bit of noise at night. It’s not super modern, more rustic yet charming. I also didn’t really like the breakfast - bit of random taste. They could use more staff working the beach cabanas; a few times I had to go all the way to the post to order.

It's the perfect honeymoon stay, where wonderful view, clean comfortable room, professional and really nice staff and incredible food meets. We couldn't choose better room and hotel to stay in. The great service and hospitality made our trip even more exceptional.

Location and sunbeds on private beach no balcony

I liked the location as it was quite and directly on the beach but it is far from all the tourists spots Sadly after we checked in and I inquired about their spa opening times, they informed me it was closed for maintenance. My friend and I were upset as the hotel is a spa hotel and it was the reason we booked this specific hotel. As there are many great hotels that are far cheaper on the beach front that don’t have spa facilities. I informed the receptionist that this was the reason we booked this hotel and that they hadn’t informed us it was closed and had we know we would have gone somewhere else. He shrugged his shoulders and said it’s closed for maintenance. However when I went to go look at the spa area the water was still running and there were no maintenance works happening. I told them they should have updated the website stating it was closed and again he just stared at me saying it was closed. They didn’t offer any upgrades or even apologise. Another guest told me she was asked to pay for an upgrade if she wanted a jacuzzi room for the last night of her stay. Other than this the breakfast staff were fantastic and friendly. The cleaning ladies cleaned everything top to toe every day. The hotel rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Excelleret location. Modern Suite with view over the ocean and hot top at the balcony.

Great staff in restaurant and bar. The pool is a fab size and the location is perfect Great staff although cleaning lost some of our child's muslin cloths as they were in were in the bed when changed them. They also couldn't tell us till 11am on the day of checkout if we could have late checkout (checkout is at 11am) so bit of a pain. Beds aren't the most comfortable either.

Great location, pool area was lovely Our room was ticket away, through various corridors, opposite the spa which was noisy in the morning
-
Great location, lovely pool. Spa was closed so despite booking massages we didn’t get to use any facilities. There was also a strong smell of drains in the room.

The location is perfect, the beach and the promenade next to it is in front of the hotel. There are lot of restaurants, you can go to a new one each day! The pool is ok There is a dusty field in front of the hotel, which is the free parking. It is free, but totally full every time. You have to wait for a free space, and you are lucky if it is big enough for your car (even for a small one).

The location was good The manager and staff (other than Eirini who worked at the front desk) were rude and not very helpful. The room we stayed in had a shower that my husband bumped his head every time he stepped in it. It was a corner shower that was very small. Looked like the room was decorated in 1960. The bar staff would only give us 2 half cups full of ice. When I asked for more ice, the bar staff told me to go to the store and buy ice because they (the hotel) paid for the ice. BTW I did go buy a bag. It only cost 3 euros. Also, when I asked if we could move to another room, the manager refused to move us to another room. Told me to deal with booking.com. This was the worst place I stayed at.
