Amaria Beach Resort

Breakfast was always great. Lots to choose from and plenty of time in the mornings to wander down and enjoy a healthy breakfast. The staff were always helpful, accommodating and you just felt a sense of calm, like life became a little more gentle while staying here. Dinner at the restaurant was always lovely, beautiful dishes created by the wonderful chef who would spend time speaking with you and sharing stories. Marilyn, our Concierge, was kind and helpful and always pointing us in the right direction. Easy to get to places outside of the resort with the handy resort transport and the beach, though rocky, was beautiful and you could sit and watch the waves crashing for hours, very relaxing and therapeutic. Loved it here, many great memories, thank you to everyone at AMĀRIA. The airport being so close was a little bothersome at first but after a couple of days it just became part of the background. It would have been nice to have more staffing patrol the pool lounge chairs as people would put their towel and belongings on them first thing and then leave them for an hour or two which wasn’t right. I guess we could have done that too but it just felt rude to do that.

The cleanless of the room

The hotel property is absolutely charming, with a lovely swimming pool and beautiful beachfront. All of the staff we met — Amir, Prince, Victoria, and the restaurant team — were attentive and very friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and they even prepared a bed and bowl for my dog, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

The breakfast and the service was excelent. The atmosphere by the pool very relaxing and the staff very discreet.

Very elegant, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Being local to airport and hearing planes take off. Some planes were really bad others were okay.

Anna Maria (one of the staff) was always very helpful. I am not going to say anything since we have been through every single negative feedback posted on this website. We have nothing to add, except the attached evidence for the fact that (1) the so-called beach is abandoned, (2) the surroundings of the hotels is deserted, (3) the amount of umbrellas and sunbeds are insufficient, and (4) bad housekeeping/dirty room. BONUS: When we said we wanted check out early and demanded refund after an interaction with staff which left us offended, one of the first things that came out of the manager’s mouth was where I was from. It shocked me for a second and made me laugh because I, of course, thought to myself: “I wonder which country I say she would agree for a refund.” I did not get a refund. So, I guess I said the wrong nationality haha.

Wow! This place and the service exceeded our expectations. We have travelled and stayed in many resorts and hotels however this resort is exceptional. The service from all the staff members is beyond excellent. Everyone tried to make us as comfortable as possible and nothing was missing. Warmth, smiles, and any thing we needed. Thank you Anna Maria, Maryann, the girls at the reception and everyone. We also want to say thank you to all the drivers . Also tba k you to the Adelaide lady ( sorry I cannot remember your name ) you always greeted us and got us a good spot at the pool xx That we had to leave so soon. It is definitely a place to stay more than 5 days.

Staff were friendly and the overall experience was great Quite and perfect for relaxing Its far from the main tourist areas in both Fira and Oia however it was not a problem for us

The Hotel was Amazing, great pool. The staff was Amazing. Raphaella and Dominic at service were our favorite best friends when we came home from a day sight seeing. Kiki and Marilyn helped from transportation to dinner reservations. Thank you the staff made our trip happy for the whole family in Santorini. Transportation is needed to see other towns - Taxi are easily available

I liked everything. There is nothing i disliked byt like everything, all can improve. Its proximity to the airport is a pro but also a con. However the area is very calm and Santorini does not have a lot of plane traffic anyway compared to other places. Not a big deal. I would have prefered a more chill out vibe for the music at the pool but that changes i guess with the days. If they made a proper Gym and had a driver with a Van to the airport free of charge that would be a megaplus in my opinion.

Exceptional

The breakfast was adequate and could have been better. Lunch was good. Airplane noise was a little much at times but not bad.

The staff at Amaria really made this holiday the best we've ever had. The reception staff Antonia and Kiki were so delightful and welcoming every day. Our cocktail connoisseur George created the most impressive and great tasting cocktails and always with a smile and good conversation. Apostolys and Patrick tended to our every need whilst we relaxed by the pool. We met the lovely manager who runs a fab team and couldn't do enough for us. We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly, you won't regret it! Nothing it was perfect

Passable

Very clean and recently renewed. There weren’t a lot of options for restaurants in the hotel. there was only one and it had tastey food but a bit pricy
