Swimming pool could have been cleaner. Nice if there had been an elevator Reception desk often vacant but yelling out for service or ringing the. bell brought fast, timely service

We liked the small intimate part of the hotel, pool area and dining area. We loved the tropical feeling the hotel has as it's grest location. The hotel food was really well prepared and fresh. But the one thing we loved the most is the Staff, just absolutely wonderful people. Nothing was a problem for them, best hospitality. Nothing

This place is so so cool. Gorgeous space with beautiful art and a really nice garden in the courtyard. Truly everything is great. Breakfast was awesome, the pool is refreshing, the staff is so attentive and eager to help, the bed was comfy and AC worked well, perfect location, 2 friendly cats. We loved it here

Cool building and decor. Super friendly staff and great food. Room was very comfortable and eco- conscious. Street is busy, but my room was quiet. Not a fan of smoking allowed at the bar.

Most hotels are just a place to sleep and store your stuff. Old Cinema was more like an experience. As soon as you step in the doors, you feel like you have stepped back in time. There is an inner courtyard full of trees, a small pool and dinning area all surrounded by the rooms. The owner has spent a lot of time decorating to truly give a 1920s feeling and the bar specializing in gin drinks doesnt hurt. The staff are exceptional and can sort out all your needs. Our room was compact, but had everything w needed. Even though our room was facing the street, it was very quiet Nothing

Great location, easy walking distance to everything. The staff were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay! Pouv in particular was so kind and attentive. We really enjoyed relaxing and cooling off in the pool in the afternoons. The retro style of the hotel was fun and the room was comfortable. But the absolute standout for us was the food! The included breakfast was huge and delicious. With multiple options there was something for everyone. We ate several other meals and desserts at the restaurant and everything was spectacular! I only wish we could stay longer and try everything on the menu. I'll be dreaming of the lemongrass chicken and the goat cheese salad... So good! Our room was a little on the small side, but well equipped and comfortable. The restaurant prices seemed a little high, but honestly, the quality was so good we were happy to pay it. We really hope to return some day!

I like the old Cinema deco and ambiance overall, nice little boutique hotel. And great location to explore Kampot by foot. The breakfast and food offer is nice and healthy.

This hotel has fine fine facilities, a good location and an exceptional staff. We were there only one night, but they took are of several special requests and we thoroughly enjoyed the special touches like popcorn with our poolside drinks. When I explained I didn’t drink the welcome drink because it was too sweet, they brought less sweet versions to our room! The breakfast was great (and right on time-we needed it at 0715 as leaving at 8). It was easy to walk down to the riverside and also to the Giant Ibis bus station for our bus the next day. Room had everything you need. We would stay there again. Nothing

Funky decor with spacious king room. Breakfasts were great with different options. The pool was a respite from the intense heat on the streets. The staff were attentive and provided recommendations for dinner. All good

Hotel old cinema was such an undercover gem. The room is so thoughtfully laid out from the super comfortable platform beds and pillows to the bench at the front where you can put on your shoes, to the full length mirror. The fun art deco touches with custom painted rooms and bathrooms make the rooms feel more boutique and fun. I had dinner and snacks as well as breakfast and it was all great, and so were the lovely staff. They even have two sweet kitties who live there too. The property is conventionally located in Kampot, very walkable to lots of great restaurants and the riverside, as well as an excellent laundry service right after the corner. The value re: what you pay vs what you get here is top notch. I traveled Cambodia for 2 weeks and this was by far my favorite hotel. Highly recommend Hotel Old Cinema for any guests visiting Kampot!

A beautifully decorated hotel in a convenient location close to the riverside. It was a quick stroll to the nearby shops and restaurants. The onsite restaurant’s breakfast was delicious. The staff were all so friendly and attentive.

Breakfast was really nice and staff very helpful. Plenty to eat of the menu and no issue about ordering extra. Bar and Gin happy hour was absolutely awesome, highly recommend tasting a few on the menu. We had two diners at the hotel and both times food was sensational. Location on edge of old town and really easy walking distance for bars and river front. Check out and picnic breakfast supplied was really appreciated. Our only minor complaint was the firmness of the beds - a fair bit harder than what we are used to at home I did not ask for a mattress topper, or inquire about it at the time, which is my problem.
