I felt so comfortable and cared about there. There was place to hang out and talk to people. It was a really relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying each other.
-
Convenience and close enough to the station and most attractions, however it was noisy due to our room was on the main floor snd literally at the main entrance and next to a bar as nd the main shared public room and many other guest gathered and handout and stayed up late and made a lot of noise.

Location close to train station so easy to accommodate Price and quality not worth it.If you coming winter time not recommend lower bed. at night quite cold and not comfortable.

An excellent guest house that was great value with a great location.

Very close to Kanazawa station. Small but mighty! The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a great time.

There is a such a warm atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming and the amenities are great! Laundry, kitchen, towels, shampoo/conditioner are all available within the guesthouse. Free tea and coffee. It is very close to the train station (9minutes walk), and close to many things. The bunk bed is a bit difficult to get into

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and it was easy to reach them via Booking.com with questions. Great location near the train station. The place is very small, and the rooms even more so. The women sharing my room were pretty inconsiderate in terms of noise (one was talking on her cell phone for hours, the other one was unfriendly) -- and in a tiny space, it made it even more uncomfortable to share with strangers. You have to pay for towels and other amenities, although soft drinks are free.

Location, staff.

The bar was a nice place to watch the world go by while waiting for my daughter to return from shopping. Spacious bedroom opened onto a small courtyard Leaving

It was a pleasant place to stay. The tiny bar right next door was really funky and fun. The location was good and facilities were fine. It was tiny and compact, but a nice place to stay. I rented a bike and it was great! The rooms were fine and roomy enough. They had a free soda machine, never have seen that before! Maybe the kitchen wasn't easy to cook in, but food is so good and cheap when you eat out, so why cook?

Excellent location, clean and friendly staff. Nothing

The hostel is located very close to Kanazawa station. It's important when your feet almost gave up after walks around the castle, kenrokuen, and higashi-chaya. Also, while the street to Kanazawa station is deserted at night, the opposite direction is buzzing. I had a nice dinner at a ramen restaurant near the hostel. The stairs are narrow and very steep. It would be challenging if you travel with a heavy suitcase. Thankfully the host was very kind to let me leave my suitcase in the common area.

Friendly staff. Nice to have a common area with a kitchen. Good location close to Kanazawa station. Free sodas, ice and inexpensive beers. Our room was just above the bar and on a Saturday night the music and cheering was loud. It did quiet down at 10 PM. As people in our 70s it was a bit uncomfortable to only have 1 chair in our room.

Lovely place, I’ll stay anytime here

Free drinks, Pepsi/Tea/Orange/Soda A lot of sound from outside the room

The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk from the station. The staff are very friendly, helpful and nice. The price - it was very inexpensive. The ‘guesthouse’ is actually a hostel, with poor soundproofing. We were on the ground floor, next to showers, so if someone talked in the common room or took shower we could hear everything. Luckily the guests were very considerate and didn’t make noise after 10pm. But the main reason for giving 5 out of 10 was the room itself - it had a very unpleasant stale smell, we couldn’t tell where it was coming from and airing the room didn’t help. It wasn’t a musty smell, but it was strong and made staying in the room unpleasant. Also when I was unfolding the bed, I found that the mattress underneath had mould stains… While I understand that this is a cheap accommodation, this is a serious oversight considering how common mould allergies are.

Small but Great kitchen and common area! The owner and staff were so nice And kind. We had a problem with the room and they did everything they could to solve it, so that we will be happy, and as soon as another room was available they also offered us to move. We recommend ❤️ and We will definitely be back!
