SHARIN Kanazawa Traveler's Inn - Hostel

Location was in a nice, quiet neighborhood not far from the station, a few restaurants and bars, with some visual interest. The living space was a little small but was very clean, well maintained, and much more comfortable than you’d expect from a hostel. Staff wasn’t always present, but when you met them were very nice. Perhaps the only thing I would’ve appreciated was a locker.

Full of character. Really clean and comfortable. Powerful shower. Peaceful area. Close to great coffee shops (sunny bell), supermarket less than 5 minutes away, near the station. Nothing - perfect stay.

It was good for a quick one night stay but not as expected. Firstly the checkin time was around 4pm and checkout is 10am sharp and for checkin you’ve to wait at another hostel. It was very small place, you’re not allowed to use kitchen only few appliances were available.

This was our favourite stay in Japan. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing! The rooms are cleans and lovely. I hope to come here again every time I’m in Japan. Everything was so good. It was the perfect place for us.

This is a tiny hostel, which we didn’t realise and first were worried that it would be impossible to sleep as the room wasn’t soundproof. But the guests were very considerate and we slept very well. The bed is comfortable, and everything is clean. While the toilet is shared, it’s nice to have an ensuite shower. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave me a lot of tips of what to see in Kanazawa. No soundproofing - we got lucky but if the guests weren’t so considerate it could have been a problem. The room is quite small with hardly any space for luggage. We only had two medium sized backpacks, so it was ok for us.

Theres only two rooms on the property so I basically had the whole house to myself before the other guests checked in. The bar downstairs wasn’t open but they had a honor-system mini bar. The toilet is shared with both rooms but there is a private shower in the room. Loved having netflix in the room, felt like home! And conveniently located by the train for those like me who dont want to walk too far with your luggage

SHARIN was nearby the Kanazawa station so it was perfect for us who are transiting in Kanazawa. The receptionist is friendly. He was articulate in providing recommendations and was accommodating to our particular circumstance (late check-in, early check-out, left luggage for the day). We really appreciate it as we really wanted to visit Shirakawago in winter. The room itself was large and it was sufficient space for 4 people with its own bathroom. The toilet is shared with the other room on the same floor. The stay was comfortable. We weren't provided towels & we had to share the toilet but at least the toilet was clean

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at SHARIN in Kanazawa! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to assist me when I had a bus problem heading to Shirakawa-go, ensuring I had all the necessary information and support. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Kanazawa Station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The beds are comfortable, the facilities are clean, and the rates are very affordable. If I had to point out something minor, the shower room and reception area can feel a bit cramped, but honestly, that didn’t impact my overall experience. These are small details.

The host was very kind and supplied a parking for our rented car at a reasonable price. The room itself was large for japanese standards and nice for the price. Everything was clean, toilet included.

The location is great, it’s only 5min to the Kanazawa station. We picked up the keys nearby, the staff is very friendly and the house is very cute. The common space has everything you need, coffee, tea, water… the room was also very cozy and nice! Only thing is maybe that we would have liked to check-in earlier than 4pm
