Excellent location; it was very easy to use the Kanazawa public transport from the hotel or to walk to major attractions. The room was very clean plus the hotel has a public bath, which was nice. The breakfast area was quite crowded, and the breakfast itself could be better.

Everything very convenient, requiring little assistance. When I did need assistance, the staff was friendly and solved the problem immediately. Wish I had a desk.

Amazing location - literally across from Omicho Market, with nightlife and Kanazawa Castle just around the corner. There are onsens on the top floor which we did not try out but would have liked to!

Free bike rental & location, and it was pretty quiet. Having to fill out the same bike rental form each time we rented the bikes even though they already had our info from the same day. I did not like the fact that the light in the bathroom came on very bright in the middle of the night, even if I didn't turn it on, but it automatically came on just by opening the bathroom door... Very annoying if going to the bathroom in the middle of the night... so there should be a switch or at least a dimmer to make the light in the bathroom very low at night time. Some of the other ceiling lighting should also be on a dimmer switch.

I loved the location and how clean the hotel was.

We loved the hotel, the rooms were well planned and spacious, and walking distance to main attractions and the market. Highly recommend.

Id stay here again- adding below for “helpful Criticism “ Some staff was very nice, while others dont greet you when you come in and are just talking amongst each-other. There was an old strawberry stalk and leaves by the bed that looked to have been there a while. I forgot to ask them to clean it , im sure they would have . Everything else was clean. The coffee in the lounge wasnt very not very good. Although its a nice thought. There is wear and tear in the room. Shower room had a funky smell

The computerized check in, receptionist helpfulness, impersonal check in, was not friendly

This bed is rock solid. They have no options for a mattress topper or anything to soften it. A tatami mat and futon are softer

The room was spacious and clean! The public bath didn't allow guests with tattoos, but this is minor considering that's the case for many public baths across Japan

Great location, good breakfast! Used the bath early in the morning, it was a nice start of the day and it works until late in the night.
