UAN kanazawa

Service was exceptional and personalized. The front desk was helpful in transferring our luggage to Tokyo via a luggage transport service. We loved the comfort and aesthetics of the room, and appreciated that the sink was located outside of the toilet/bathing area. The tub was also very nice. We opted for the breakfast package and tried both the Japanese and western options - both were fantastic. I loved being able to hang out in the lobby area and grab coffee, tea, and a light snack. We also used the laundry facilities, which is one reason I chose this hotel over another boutique hotel in the area. We liked everything! My only very minor feedback is that the Japanese breakfast was the same for 3 days in a row - it was terrific, but it would have been nice to have something different. On our last day, we switched to the western breakfast, which was also very good!

Nice contemporary styled hotel with friendly staff. Convenient rooms - we had a nice balcony. Excellent location next to Kanazawa castle and garden. Nothing really. Would have been nice if they had a parking arrangement with the adjacent parking lot.

What a delightful hotel. Staff were charming, checking in was easy. The room was huge and well appointed. The Japanese breakfast was excellent and the late evening ramen was much appreciated. The staff also navigated ta-q-bin for us. This was probably the best hotel of our trip. We even had a balcony and a little garden. The front door is easy to miss, but that's a minor detail. Once found, everything beyond that point was great.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was ideal for sightseeing on foot.

Our first visit to Kanazawa and we chose UAN for the location and in room onsens. The hotel staff is very welcoming and warm in a manner US hotels rarely achieve. The facilities were spotless and thoughtfully decorated with all amenities needed. We tried both western and japanese breakfast styles, each was excellent, although western breakfast is very large and we didn’t need lunch. Given location, we took advantage of early morning walk in the famous garden which allowed us to enjoy the serene qualities and beauty of the garden without the crowds- that is worth the price of this hotel in itself! Thank you to the staff who were all friendly and helpful, many of whom spoke some english and google translate also ensured ease of communication for more complicated matters. thank you UAN for a wonderful stay! we hope to be back! Nothing -everything was stellar!

Hotel staff was so welcoming and the room was beautiful--we had a terrace room which was really nice in the morning. The bathroom was very well appointed and the breakfast was amazaaaaazing--not the cheapest option, but well worth it. Extremely well located to most everything we wanted to do--an easy walk to everything. Highly recommend this spot Nothing--everything was terrific!

Air conditioning was not working well and it was a bit hot inside but we didn't complain. Somehow the air filter thing worked. It was not too much problem anyway.

we were able to check in early. It was a big room with our own balcony with table and chairs. There was a nice space to sit and have coffee. There was no breakfast option.

Location & room was very comfortable. Japanese & Western style Breakfast was very good & I liked that the ingredients were locally sourced. Coffee making facilities in the room was not good & we had to go downstairs to get decent coffee w milk in the morning. Coffee making facilities in room could be improved.(the drip coffee bags provided in the room were terrible & made a mess)

We had a wonderful stay and were impressed from the moment we arrived. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout, and the staff were super friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing seemed too much trouble—they kindly arranged restaurant reservations and taxis for us, which made our stay much easier. The room and bathroom were excellent, with a lovely jacuzzi bath and luxury bath products that added a real touch of indulgence. We also made good use of the laundry facilities, which were very convenient during our trip. The bar was a lovely place to relax in the evening. We tried the sake tasting, which was particularly enjoyable as each sake came with notes explaining its characteristics and origin, making it a great introduction to different varieties. Although we didn't dine at the hotel, the food looked excellent and was clearly popular with other guests. Overall, a fantastic hotel with outstanding service, great facilities and a genuine focus on guest experience.

I highly recommend UAN kanazawa to anyone visiting the area. This stay was truly a standout experience for several reasons: Outstanding Service: The staff here is simply world-class. I experienced the best customer service of my three weeks journey across Japan. They are attentive, professional, and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Premier Location: The hotel’s location is hard to beat. It is situated within easy walking distance of the local market, several world-class museums, and a great variety of restaurants. Additionally, it is just a short, convenient walk to the Kanazawa train station. Comfort & Cleanliness: My room was incredibly comfortable and kept in pristine condition throughout my stay. A huge thank you to the housekeeping team for their meticulous maintenance and attention to detail. Excellent Facilities: * Gym: The gym area is simple but highly effective, providing everything needed for a solid workout. Laundry: The laundry area is very well-maintained and was a huge convenience during my long trip. If you are looking for a well-maintained, centrally located hotel with staff that truly cares about your experience, look no further than UAN kanazawa.

Gym room would be much improved with some basic weights. It’s only cardio now.
