We truly enjoyed our stay at the Crossroads Hotel. The historical building (former Pabst warehouse and distribution center) leans heavily on its roots offering unique rooms where the architecture and associated attention to detail captures one’s interest – not your average hotel room! The rooftop bar is a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. The lobby bar offers comfortable seating with pool table and shuffleboard available for guests to enjoy some friendly competition. A large pizza oven offering bar snacks is available. It looked fantastic, but we did not have an opportunity to try any of the offerings. Valet parking is available, but we took advantage of the self-parking option a short walk down the street. The hotel is well positioned to take advantage of Union Station and local attractions. The free trolly line is a short walk providing easy access to downtown, museums and plaza. Last, but not least, the staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. On your next visit to KC, give the Crossroads Hotel. We think you will enjoy it.

Thanks to the Crossroad's team, everything was great. Smooth check-in, great service, great Valet team, no complaints whatsoever.

Unique setting (old Pabst Beer distribution depot) that was renovated into a hotel - very well done! The onsite Italian restaurant was fabulous, and the waitstaff helpful and friendly. My only complaint - the exercise facility. The treadmills were dirty, out of calibration and there was no TV signal on either of the machines. Also no complimentary earphones. I abandoned my workout completely.

The valet service was helpful especially with limited parking, however we had to ask for a basic necessity in toilet paper 3 times within a 12 hour span. We also asked to have the room cleaned at a specific time and they were several hours late.

This is our 2nd stay & we stayed in the bunk room on this visit . Our grandchildren loved it! Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, & although limited amenities such as a pool, gym, it is a great place to relax & the entire hotel is tastefully decorated. Creating a memorable experience.

This is a beautiful property with a unique vibe to it. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are very clean with lovely charm and beautiful bathrooms with a roomy shower. The beds are comfortable and even on a hot weekend in the summer, temperature was great and we like it cold! We travel extensively and also were in the bar business for years and the only downside to the weekend was the bar staff. At the lobby bar and the rooftop, the staff was quite off putting. We tried both twice to see if we had just caught them at a bad time, but the staff is rude and acts bothered to help customers at the most basic level. We were ignored three times when trying to get a seat or an order placed without so much as a “we will be right with you”. We were passed off twice with a “I’m no longer on the clock” by bartenders standing behind the bar, however they did nothing to let another bartender on the clock know we were ready for the check or needed a refill. After several attempts, we simply frequented other establishments which is unfortunate because the overall aesthetic of the hotel made us want to be there. If you stay here, enjoy your room and plan drinks elsewhere.

This hotel is beautiful and inviting! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Anything we needed was provided for us promptly - new tv remote, ice, car from valet. Our double queen room was spacious and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Great location, beautiful rooms. Thanks for the upgrade! The Italian restaurant food was excellent, but the service was very poor and the food came out very late and cold.

$45 per night valet is too much considering the vehicles are just parked right across the street.

Beautiful hotel. Very quiet. Great location to local spots. Looking forward to our next stay.

Seldom do I compliment a location as highly as I would this refurbished historic site. The views are nice, whether from the rooms, or while strolling around the old neighborhood. The neighborhood is lovely, mush cleaner than it once was. Pet friendly, yes, there are many locations for our furry friends to handle their business. If tired after traveling, there is a nice refreshing barber shop just around the corner, and they can easily line you out with a straight razor shave. A variety of restaurants on property offer a large range of dishes that all taste fresh and delicious. The rooms were clean. The staff is friendly, inviting, and welcoming. Accommodating is an understatement, I believe. Furthermore, in staying there a week most recently, I can honestly say I never once encountered one grumpy or disgruntled employee either. In addition, on many occasions, yes- I did note that the management within the restaurants, as well as the hotel, all, did check upon their staff to query how they were doing also. Indeed, I am pleased with the stay I was provided, thank you. Last but not least, I commend the fine gentleman serving as valets, truly. They were eager, friendly, and made all the difference between great service and impeccable, I say. Cheers, Mates, Sincerely- Z

Our first night was a bit overwhelming. We were out most of the evening and returned around 11:00 p.m. to a completely packed bar. It felt more like walking into a nightclub than a hotel lobby—people everywhere and extremely loud. We thought we’d check out the rooftop bar to see if it was quieter, but as soon as the elevator doors opened, we turned right back around and called it a night. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable, and the walls didn’t do much to block noise. We could hear people talking and walking around throughout the night, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Our second night was much better. The hotel wasn’t nearly as crowded, and we were able to enjoy what the property had to offer. However, many of the “amenities” are open to the public, which takes away from the feeling that they’re exclusive to hotel guests and would explain the overflow of people. The valet parking was excellent—we had no issues at all, and the service was quick and efficient. Overall, I think this hotel is geared more toward people looking for a lively nightlife scene. If you enjoy bars, a social atmosphere, and late-night energy, you’ll probably have a great time. However, if you’re not a drinker, prefer a quieter atmosphere, or are looking for a relaxing getaway, this probably isn’t the best fit.

The hotel is very cool...industrial chic. The artwork is amazing and the rooms are very nice. The front desk staff were very inviting and friendly. The valet staff was great. Something to consider, the cost is a little pricey. The room had it's own private bar with goodies we chose not to try due to the prices on those. We went to the rooftop bar which was very cool but not as friendly. The food was okay. The drinks were a little too strong for my liking. The main dining/bar area was good. The food was okay, a little pricey and slow on service. We waited an hour for our waitress to come around and it was slow at that time. Once it got busy we decided to head out. We didn't have enough time to eat at the Italian restaurant which I'm told is very very good. I wish we would've made reservations for that. All in all it is a good place to stay. It is convenient to the Street Car and Union Station. You can walk almost anywhere downtown from there. Definitely a plus.
